I was scrolling through my Instagram feed, laying on my bed, liking most posts that popped up. All of a sudden, I was craving a slushy. I sighed standing up and looking at my current physical state. I was wearing a pair of black sweatpants and a random sports bra, and my hair ACTUALLY looked like an animal gave birth in it. I sighed, and grabbed a brush, furiously trying to get all the knots out. Once it was half decent, I put it in two braids. Then I chucked on a white printed t that read 'I'm Not Listening' and a random pair of middle waisted shorts which sat just under my belly button.
As I left the house I locked the door then headed on my way. I stuck my earbuds in and started listening to 'Beat It' by Fall Out Boy. As I was walking down the road I saw a little puppy and a girl who looked around the age of seven walking it. I made sure she was aloud out to walk the dog before continuing my slushy mission. Yes! Its a mission now.
I was blocking out the outside world when something, well someone bumped in to me and fell off a skateboard. I quickly took the earbuds out of my ears "Oh my god! I'm so sorry" his skate board was about ten metres away from where we were standing now. I ran over and brought it back to the boy. He was still on the ground. I gave him my hand and helped him to his feet. "Are you okay?" I asked him, a little concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just a little bruise. My name's Sean by the way."
"Well. Nice to meet you Sean. I'm Hope, say, want to come to seven eleven with me, I'll buy you a slushy. My treat" I offered.
"Why not, I got nothing better to do" he said. He got back on his skateboard and we made our way to the seven eleven.
"So, what do you do for a living Sean?" I asked,
"Oh um, this probably sounds weird. I'm a Minecraft youtuber, what about you?" He replied.
"I'm currently not doing anything. I only moved out a few weeks ago and my parents are paying my rent until I get a job." I said.
Once we got to the seven eleven, we got the slushy's then drank/ate (WHAT IS THE WORD FOR CONSUMING A SLUSHY?!?!) them at a nearby park. We were acting like five year olds because no one else was around. By the end of the day we exchanged numbers. I hope we'll be able to hang out again soon. He is a really nice guy.
We were walking home from the park, conveniently, he only lived a few streets down. He dropped me off home, giving me a hug before saying goodbye.
