Cadens P.O.V
"Lucy what did you just say?!?!" I asked extremely suprised. I looked at her lifeless body, her hand lightly increased its pressure on my hand. I heard the door open and Dr.Schmit walked in with his glasses on the bridge of his nose. "I hope you realized Lucy said something, just a minute ago she woke up from her coma like state and answered a question that was previously asked that she hadn't fully gotten to answer then, well anyways what the machine picked up was a light 'yes' from her. Would you know what the question she was answering was young man?" He looked at me with stern and cold eyes. "N-no I haven't talked to her sense she came to visit me and we just talked normally until she left and thats when I saw her faint." The doctor looked as if he knew I was lying, He pushed his glasses up and looked into my eyes with a pressuring look. "Okay, would you know if this has anything to do with the fact Lucy is..." He cleared his throat as if this next word coming up was a dreadful thing. "Pregnant." My stomache churned and made a big heep that wanted to come out of my mouth.
"I just wanted to know but if you didn't know she was pregnant, well I guess I will ask her parents. They would probably like to know this little tid-bit about her, right?" The doctor gave me a cold look again then turned to look at Lucy's cold body. "S-sir I d-didn't know about her pregnancy. next time I guess I will look more closely at her health." My throat swelled up until there was a giant lump in my throat. "Thank you for being her friend in this situation, when me and my wife were young I got her pregnant and her parents were straight to the idea of abortion but I wouldn't allow that to happen. I now have my beautiful daughter Lyra." His eyes softened and a small grin appeared on his face.
"What a pretty name... Lyra." I waited for the doctor to talk but he just stood up and walked out of the room. I looked at the small clock on the table beside the hospital bed, 12:08 maybe I should go home, shower, sleep, and pack a bag Lucy's parents can probably manage her whole situation. I let go of Lucy's tiny hand and laid it across her stomache. I would see her when the sun was up again and I would hurry to come back.
Narrators P.O.V
Suddenly Lucy's heart stopped, the machine wildly shrieked like a banchee and it sent a group of nurses and Dr. Schmit to help her would she live?
MWAHHAHAHAHAHA!! I am so evil I think this the longest chapter I have ever written! OMG congratz me! Lol hope you enjoyed! I realised this exactly at 12:00 A.M 2/4/2012! I waited till the perfect moment! Please comment and this time I am letting YOU decide Lucy's fate! I wanted to say that I really enjoyed writing this chapter it was really fun! Oh and I wanted to say the characters are all based on people I know! Lucy is my BFF and is super cool! Caden is my caring boyfriend! Kiki is my other BFF! The doctor is based off of my doctor and he is single and has no children and isn't that old, So yeah that is where I get all my character names from!
