"But mom! It was on accident!" I told my mom giving her my best 'puppy dog' look. "No. ABSOLUTELY NOT!" The vein in her neck was sticking out, pulsing with her heart beat.

"But mom! I can take cooking classes! I'll learn! I don't want to live at home!" I was only in this situation because I had accidentally burned some of my hair off trying to turn the stupid stove on! Okay maybe that's not the only reason my parents wanted me to come back home. I had accidentally burned my hand trying to make toast and before that I accidentally started a fire which burned some of my cabinets..

My mom stated I was "hazardous" and I NEEDED to come back home. To save everybody and myself.

"It's okay Ploppy pop, you'll get your room back and I'll even get one of your brothers to drive you to school. Plus your mom and I will cook for you!" My dad was awesome. I loved him he was always on my side. Like when I wanted to change the channel because my brothers would hog it up. But right now he wasn't helping.

"Daddy please!! I just wanna be normal! I won't even go in the kitchen!  I'll get a neighbor to help me! Just please! I can do this!" I was too desperate. I wanted to be like everybody else. I wanted to be an adult! It took me forever to convince them to let me stay in an apartment near my college. I had only been here for almost 7 months!

My dad looked at my mom, thinking it in. Yes! He's gonna let me stay! "I'm sorry Ploppy pop but no. It's too dangerous for everyone including yourself. "

"But!" I was speechless.  Daddy had always been on my side. Including that time I punched Gail Peterson for taking my oreos. I started crying. This just wasn't fair! "Come on sweetie! Cheer up! It won't be that bad! "

I knew it wouldn't be that bad. My family was awesome we were all close. We had family night every Saturday night. We took tacky holiday card photos. We went camping and went on fun vacations. They didn't understand how much I wanted to be like an adult. I was babied too much! We all we're!

"A come on dad, she's crying. Let her stay. Plus her lease isn't even over yet and you are paying for her apartment..." my brother Kyle came to hug me. Kyle was still in high school he was a Junior. I peeked over Kyles shoulder blinking away the tears and wiping my face.

My mom and dad we're staring at me. Their eyes showing their thoughtfulness.  They looked at each other one last time before saying their verdict.

Together they said it "Okay."

I was staying!
