One For Me, One For You

Friday Night!

"Come on we're gonna be late" i shout out to Carrie who's upstairs getting ready. "I'm coming, I'm coming" she replies hurrying down the stairs. "Pack your stuff lets go" i say heading out the front door. Mum grabs the keys "alrighty! Let's go!". Its a busy night at 8:00 in New York City as we drive over the bridge I see all the lights and I'm ready to party and find myself some guy who will change my life forever. When I saw the tickets on sale for Trance I thought there's no one else i would ever want to go with more than Carrie my best friend. "this is your stop, now, did you pack your pepper spray?" mum says, Carrie looks at me with a sudden scared face. "Wha..?" i say with the most confusing face I had ever made. "I'm just messing with ya, go have fun, but be safe, love you bye" mum says making me feel relived to know that i don't have a maniac mother. We get dropped of right out the front of the building. It's a huge building with loud music, flashing lights and huge crowds of people. Carrie and I stop for a second, look at each other  and both say with a giant smile on both of our faces, "let's do this!". We walk in together, Boom clap is playing, our Jam! We eventually find our way to the lockers and put our bags in there. Then we PARTY! It's 9:00 pm now, we've been singing and dancing for 1 hour non-stop. Sweet nothing is playing I was getting lost in the moment and it looked like Carrie was too. Lights were flashing and the smoke machines were smokin'. Carrie and I were right in the middle of the giant crowd when this guy bashes into me falling on me. I fall to the ground almost black-out, then I see this hand reach out to me and someone saying "oooowoooowooo", this guy pulls me up on my feet, he pulls me so hard that i  go straight into his chest like a hug. I step back because duh he's a stranger meanwhile my head is aching like i just had a brick thrown at it. "Oh my gosh, I..uhh....umm.." he stumbles a bit, "I'm so so sorry, are you ok?" he says looking right into my eyes. When my head stops spinning his face became clear, his eyes were a pretty hazel colour, his hair was dark brown almost black with blonde highlights. his skin was way too clear his face smooth, a tanned like caramel. he looked like an angel from heaven.

"I've felt better" I reply laughing a little. "Here, let's grab something frozen" he says taking my hand and guiding me to the cafe. He get some ice in a bag, "here you go" he puts the ice on my head holding it there trying to be as helpful as he possibly can. "I'm really sorry about all this" he says nervously, "It's fine, I'm fine" I reply "really?" he says surprised, "no, it really hurts" I say. He leans in closer trying to make my head stop hurting, "I'm just messing with you", i say laughing a little. "Oh my gosh" he said sounding relieved to know I'm ok. He laughs for a bit then he says "I'm Grayson" reaching out his hand, I shake his hand "I'm Lily". "So what brings you to an event like this?" Grayson says sounding all professional. "Well, I came here with my best friend Carrie" I say sounding dizzy and drunk because of my head. "Wait where is Carrie?" I say. I lean forward to get off these high cafe stools, "wow, where you going?" Gray says catching me before I face planted into the ground, "let me help you find her" he says helping me to stand. "Where did you last see her?" he says scanning the closest area "she was in the crowd". He takes my hand and takes me through the crowd trying to find her. I'm frantically looking thinking she might be gone or missing. We go around the whole building in every room looking for her. "she's just gone, I was supposed to be looking out for her but I didn't, I'm so stupid" I say getting more and more angry with myself. "hey it's ok we'll find her" Grayson says calming me down, "I need some air" I say going outside. Grayson still following me checking to see if I'm ok and still trying to find Carrie. Grayson then goes looking somewhere else outside, "Carrie?" I see her sitting outside on the egg chair, "hey, I was looking for you" I say giving her a huge hug. "Stay here I'll be right back, I just need to find someone else" I say looking around for Grayson "ok, I'll be here" Carrie replies chilling in the egg chair. "GRAYSON?, are you here?" still looking for Gray. "Raa" he jumps out from behind a bush scaring the life out of me, I scream so loud "you scared me so bad" I say while Grayson stands there killing himself laughing.

"I found Carrie, and I think we're about to head off, thank you for helping me tonight" I say lost in his greeny brown eyes. "Yeah I should find my brother, I couldn't just leave you there and walk off in the terrible condition you were in because of me" he chuckles a bit. "well i couldn't say that i had done this before but it was fun i reply chuckling a bit. We say our goodbyes and go our different ways. I get in the car my mind is going wild with thoughts about him. Wait I never got his number I thought, I hope I find him again one day...
