Quavo

I heard a bunch of footsteps coming this way. I looked at the living room doorway surprised. Kj, Mekhi, Quan and Carmelo stood there. I looked at Miracle as she came downstairs. What the fuck? I thought he...

I stood up and walked past them. I grabbed Miracle's arm and pulled her up the stairs, into a room. She looked at me in disgust.

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me he wasn't dead?" I asked mad as hell.

"I would have if you woulda called me! You didn't even try to call. Miss me with that bull shit Qua." She tried walking past me but I didn't let her.

"What? I haven't heard you're irritating ass voice in two years? What do you want me to say? I love you? I missed you? Well, I won't say the shit because I fucking hate you. Everything woulda been so much easier if you at least called. You ran from a problem that didn't even exist. I had to ask the boys about how you were doing. They always told me oh, he's good but I knew you weren't! Quavious, I can't with you anymore. I really can't! You hurt me and those kids! Every morning for months they asked about you until they got tired of asking! Carmelo was mad at the world because Rich always called to speak to Mekhi but you? You didn't even try to. I guess they don't mean shit to you, huh?" She yelled at me, sitting on the bed and crying.

I didn't say shit. I couldn't. It's just now hitting me that I hurt them all this bad and I can't do nun about it. She stood up and walked around me but I grabbed her wrist again.

"Let me go." She mumbled, sniffling.

I pulled her into my chest, hugging her tightly. At first she fought me but then broke down crying hysterically. I ain't een gone lie though, I was crying to. I hurt myself by what I did too.

"Why didn't you just call me?" She asked, looking up at me.

"I was hurting. I really thought he was gone and I ain't have the courage to call because of that. I'm so sorry Miracle." I blinked my tears away and wiped hers.

"I don't even give a fuck anymore Quavious. Just leave me alone." She pulled away from me, successfully walking out the room.

"Fuck." I say on the bed with my head in my hands.

Rich

"I missed you Dad." Mekhi said for the millionth time. His accent had gotten thick.

"I missed you too." I admitted.

Lil nigga done got so big. I feel like I ain't shit. I've missed out on so much. He's already in the second grade. I owe Miracle fareal.

"Mama, you okay?" Mekhi asked Miracle. I figured he'd start calling her dat since his real mama left him, leaving him crying at night when he thought I wasn't around.

I looked at her and she wiped tears from her eyes. What she crying fa? Then Qua came from upstairs too. Fuck he say to her? She slightly smiled.

"Yeah, I'm alright." She lied walking over to us sitting down besides me.

"You good ma?" I asked, wrapping one arm around her.

"Y-Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" She asked, laying her head on my shoulder.

I noticed Quavo was mugging me. Ain't my fault he fucked up. I talked to her every single day while I was up in there, if I wasn't talking to my Pops.

"Ion know you tell me..." I mumbled staring at her.
She shook her head and shrugged. Carmelo and Quan ran over to her, pouting. Damn, they big as hell too.

"Mommy, I don't see it." Carmelo spoke clearly, crossing his little arms and furrowing his eyebrows.

"Yeah!" Quan agreed, copying what Carmelo did. I chuckled lightly.

"See what?" She asked in confusion.

"Our surprise! I just see all these people here in my house!" Carmelo shouted.

"Do you know who us people are?" Lingo asked raising his eyebrow.

"Yeah, our uncles and cousins. And...Daddy." Carmelo slightly looked at Quavo, huffing.

"Did you speak to Daddy?" Miracle asked pulling Quan up on her left leg.

"Ion wanna. He left me and didn't even call." He climbed on the couch, laying his head on her other leg.

I guess Qua heard because he sighed, exiting the room. Damn, I'm glad I called. Quan watches him leave and smiled, climbing off Miracle and running after him. Carmelo climb upon her and turned to face her. His little arms wrapped around her body as far as they could.

"Hey Dad?" Mekhi called me, looking up at me?

"Yuh?" I asked.

"Is that Uncle Lingo?" He cheesed. I nodded, smirking cause I already know what he boutta do.

He got off my lap and walked over to him. Lingo shook his head, staring at him.

"Get away from me. I just got out. Can I get a lil bit of time without you or Melo fuckin' with me?" He asked.

"Nope." Mekhi punched him in the stomach.

"Ight, you don't got stronger. I been waiting to beat yo lil ass fa two years." Lingo put his blunt in a nearby ashtray, standing up.

They started play fighting which made a nigga smile. I'm glad this shit ain't have a big ass impact on em'. Miracle was staring at me. I looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

"If y'all all on probation, how come all of y'all here? Can't they get in trouble?" She questioned worried.

"Nahh, we let our tethers die first. They good." I laughed.

"Y'all too much." She laughed along with me.

"Can somebody call my baby girl so I can see my son?" Jose pouted.

"Yeah, I miss Kailen too." Takeoff admitted.

"Aww, how cute. I'll go call them." Miracle stood up putting Melo on the floor.

She walked out the room but he quickly followed her. He still a mama's boy. I bet Quan gone always be under Quavo.

Lingo yelled for Mekhi to stop as he was on the floor. Mekhi was on him trying to punch his face but Lingo was blocking his shots. I laughed and went to help Mekhi.

I been waiting to be with my lil nigga since they day we got caught. I ain't never been away from him for that long and ion plan to ever again...
