I stared at the ground below us with wide eyes right after what he just said. I thought he said he didn't want my friends and me to get the wrong message from him talking to me? Did he develop this 'crush' on me after he started talking to me?

Luckily, a few seconds after he said that, my phone rang. I got out my phone and saw that it was already almost 3:45. Jane was calling me.

" I'm waiting outside the school, are you coming?!? I want to go home. "

"Hold on, I'll be there in a second." I say, standing up.

I hit the end button and put on my bookbag. I saw Harry looking out into the parking lot full of cars leaving. I felt bad leaving right now, but also relieved that I didn't have to respond to what Harry said.

"That was my sister calling, we have to go right now. Um, we'll talk tomorrow, okay?" I ask Harry, looking straight into his eyes.

"Ye-yeah, we'll talk tomorrow after school. Let's meet right here."

"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow," I say, walking down a few steps of the bleachers,"Bye Harry."

         "Bye y/n."

It took about 3 minutes walking to my sister's car.

"Where were you? I've been waiting for like 15 minutes," Jane says, her eyebrows furrowed together.

"It's none of your business, it's nothing to worry about," I say, opening the car door and sitting down in the seat, while Jane does the same.

"Um, okay.." she says, sounding disgusted while putting the car keys in and buckling her seat belt.

As I laid in bed, I thought about what I said to Harry when I was leaving.

        "We'll talk tomorrow, okay?"

And now I have to think about what I'm even going to say to Harry tomorrow.
