Chapter 1:I love you

It was my first day of 8th grade. All my friends were laughing and talking in the cafeteria,so I joined them. After about 10 minutes I heard footsteps. I looked towards the door and i saw... Luke. My best friend since I came to this place. I saw his perfect smile. We hugged for awhile and started talking. All my friends stared at us they had no words. I started to think... Whats wrong.Then I realized,our hands were touching hands on the bench that we were sitting on. I quickly moved my hand away from his even though I liked my hand there. After I move my hand chatter happened again and we were put off the spotlight. School is back huh Shawn, Luke said to me. I replied very slow looking into his eyes. We stared at each other for minutes. I had no words to describe his eyes they take me off into a journey with only me..and him. Suddenly the bell rang it was time to start the first day of 8th grade.

In class I was seated next to my friends Arthur,Bryce and of course Luke. We all talked and chattered about our summer. It was all fine until Piper Arthur's girlfriend came over asking how everyone was. We all replied with good and okay and fine then Piper had her eyes locked on Arthur. She wanted to talk to Arthur alone and with that Bryce followed Arthur. After they left it was just me and Luke alone. We started talking until Luke asked me a weird question, are you dating anyone. I answered no i'm not dating anyone. Luke had a smile across his face and I smiled too. I knew that meant something. And i was happy about that. When Arthur and Bryce returned Luke asked all of us if he wanted to have a sleepover at his house on Friday after school. We all yelled yes,Until we got shushed by our teacher. I knew Friday was gonna be an epic day. Me Arthur Bryce and Luke hanging out was gonna be a blast. I was looking forward to Friday.

After a long week of school it was finally Friday. Me Arthur Bryce and Luke jumped on the bus and started heading to Luke's house. On the bus I sat next to Luke and we shared headphones. He rested his head on my shoulder and we both stared to fall asleep. We both waked at Arthur saying wake up you love birds. Our heads popped up and we took the headphones out our ears. I've been to Luke's house before so I knew were everything was. I walked straight up to his room and dropped my bags on the floor. Bryce screamed''LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!'' and we all screamed ''YES!!!'' until we all got interrupted by Arthur's phone. The phone was ringing and we heard...''Hey babe''we all knew who it was. It was Piper. We all sighed and rolled our eyes until Arthur said I have to go babe. After he hanged up we started jumping around again. We were already planing on what we were gonna do. Late in the night we came across on the list ''Play truth or dare.''All of us were laughing and ready for truth or dare. We sat in a circle and played. We got some pretty bad dares and some secretive truths,until someone said the words I didn't except to hear.... ''I DARE SHAWN TO KISS LUKE.''I looked over at Arthur. He had a huge smirk on his face. I looked at Bryce he was giggling and laughing. Then I looked at Luke,he blushed and said''can't turn down a dare.'' I was scared.We got close to each other. Yet no one knew that I wanted to do this I was still scared. He was shaking. I pushed him down and kissed him. No one said a word. Time slowed down. My lips were touching his lips. As I pined him to the ground I could tell he wanted more. I felt his hands in my hair and his body on mine. I couldn't help to keep going. We were going at it until we got interrupted by Arthur. Arthur said"The dare was to kiss not make out." We stopped. They were laughing so I joined. Arthur asked if me and Luke enjoyed that. I heard Luke say "shut up" and we started laughing again. I will never forget that night. Later we were getting ready for bed. They Luke asked me to come here. I said what up and he said something. I thought that i was dreaming.He said the words..."I think that I love you."
