All I hear are the screams coming from down stairs, tears running down my face I'm trying my hardest not to scream with them. Mommy told me to run upstairs and hide, now all I hear are blood curdling screams from her. Soon it all stopped... It was dead, No more screaming no more banging. I slowly open up my door walking slowly to look down the stairs. I stop when I see small movement at the bottom of the stairs. I saw a large man with a scar running down his right eye till his jaw. His eye, They said I will kill you if you look at me funny.
Ducking down so the man couldn't see me I hear him say "Alpha Alex! The little bitch isn't here." There was a pause. I didn't hear an answer some I'm guessing the person is talking on the phone to some Alex guy. "No She's no help.... Yes, Sir she's not died...you want me to bring her back?..... well okay alpha. I'll bring her back maybe you can talk to her when she walks up." Next thing I hard was the sound of a dragging body, then the opening and closing of the front door.
Thinking to myself, that evil man took my mommy, now I have no one.. what do I do.. mommy only told me to hide she didn't tell me anything else... Falling to my knees I started crying harder then I already was. She'd want me to be strong I kept telling myself. I wipe my face and slowly get up. {ring-ring} The phone was ringing.. weird we don't have a home phone..
Fallowing the ringing I came across the bookshelf and opened my book mommy reads to me to help me sleep.. Pulling out a phone I answer it...
"hello..?"
"Tori...Toribear.... Its uncle Craig..please answer me tori."
"Uncle Craig! Someone took mommy "I cried into the phone.
"Shhhh.. Tori I'm on my way pack your things, Do you understand it is not safe where you are."
"How..w...w.. Did you know something happened?" Crying harder
"Your mother would always call me after she put you to bed, I knew if she didn't something happened... Now Tori go pack your bags, Your coming to live with me. Do you understand tori?"
"Yes, Uncle. I understand..... Uncle?"
"Yes tori?"
"What's an Alpha... I heard the evil man say it."
"Shit. " I heard him say.
"uncle?"
"I'm here Tori. Come outside we have to talk. I have to tell you things your mom was hiding from you till you were ready."
With that he ended the call.
I ran upstairs packed a bag and ran outside to my uncles car.
"Tori come on now, Into he back you go." My uncle said. helping me into his car. He ran back to the drivers side and got in and we were off.
20 mins later:
"uncle?"
"Tori, First things first, I'm not your uncle... I'm your dad... now rest, you will know everything soon baby girl I Promise."
I looked at him in confusion, but just nodded. This is to much for a 9 year old to take in. Looking out my window I started to slip off into dreamland.
