Meeting old "friends"

Yang's pov

Before I could lay a hand on the door, it opened to reveal...Emerald!? My mouth dropped open as I saw Emerald standing before me along with Mercury. "Miss me sweetheart?" she chuckled.

I growled and tried to push past her only to be thrown to the ground. I looked up and saw Mercury smirking at me. "Don't worry Em, I've got her" he ran towards me and shot a bullet out of his boot.

I quickly stood up and dodged the bullet. I cocked Ember Cilica and got into a brawler stance. "Better not go easy on me" I said before we ran at each other. He threw a kick towards my head but I caught his leg. I lifted him up and slammed him on the ground.

He did a back flip, stood, then aimed his boot-gun at me. He shot-kicked a couple of bullets and I dodged with ease. I smirked as he, once again ran at me. It seemed like time stopped.

I closed my eyes and remembered what Qrow had taught me.

Flash back

"You gotta be fast Yang!" he yelled at me. I panted heavily and stood from the ground. "You gotta be ready for anything kiddo" he said while walking towards me. He kneeled down and place a hand on my shoulder.

"Let me teach you something kid" he sat down on the tall green grass and patted the seat in front of him. I sighed and sat down in front of him. "Now, if you want to be a better, faster, and stronger fighter, all you gotta do..." he leaned in close and so did I.

"...is breath" I backed up and looked at him confused. He sighed and sat back. "Look, if you're fighting someone and they're faster than you, you need to be the stronger one. Lets say someone tries to throw a kick at ya. Close your eyes, inhale, wait for the right time, then let go" he explained.

I slowly nodded as I took in this new information. He smiled and stood. "Wanna go again?" I nodded and stood, taking a couple of steps back.

"Alright Yang, close your eyes" I nodded and closed my eyes. "Now take a deep breathe and hold it" I did as he told and inhaled deeply. "I want you to listen to my steps now and strike at the right time okay?" I nodded and listened carefully.

I heard his footsteps in the grass and waited for a good shot. I heard him jump off the ground then...

End of flash back

I heard him jump off the ground then opened my eyes and quickly punched him in the leg. He fell to the ground and held his leg. "Ah!! She broke my leg!" he yelled as Emerald came to his aid.

I turned and ran in the house. "Dad!? Ruby!? Qrow!? Blake!? Is anyone here!!?" I yelled while running into the living room. I froze at what I saw.

Blake's body was laying on the floor. I ran to her and held her. "Blake!! Blake come on baby please answer me!" I said while moving a piece of hair out of her face.

"Please, please, please be okay baby! I can't love without you I'm sorry!" I said while hold her head in my lap. Tears ran down my face as I looked at her face. "Blake please wake-" something hot me in the back of the head hard, making me drop Blake.

I fell to the ground as I looked up. "Good job Neo, didn't think she would shut up" a voice said. Through my blurry vision, I saw none other than Roman Torchwick smirking with a cigar hanging from his mouth. I looked up and saw who he was talking to and saw Neo. Shit.

"Now, Yang, was it? You little friend here isn't dead. She could've been but she's not" Roman said as he walked around me. "Neo here just injected her with a medicine that stops everything in you but your heart. Though, your heart beats slow" he explained.

I sat up only to be pushed back down by Neo. "Now now Neo, no need to be rude. Let the girl get up" I saw her nod and get off of me. I sat up and rubbed the back of my head. I closed my eyes and cleared my vision.

"Now then! You're probably wondering, 'what is this guy doing in my house and knocking out my girlfriend?' well, I'm here to finish some unfinished buisness" he said in a menacing voice towards the end.

"Ya see, that crow you call 'mother' decided it was a good idea to send you to my wearhouse and take some of my dust" he said while lifting my head up with his cane. "And do you know what we do to people who take things from us?" he asked while turning his cane into a gun.

I glanced over at Blake and saw that she was awake and sitting up. Roman turned his gaze towards her and smirked. "Hey kitty cat! How was that nap of yours?" he asked while letting me go. He walked over to her and smirked even more.

"I have a friend who would love to see you" he snapped his fingers twice then looked at the door. Blake's eyes widened as her body shook in fear. "A-a-Adam" she stuttered. That man smirked and stepped into the light.

The man wore a black coat with a blood red rose on the back along with different designs. The top half of his face was covered with a mask that also had blood red designs. His hair was a mixture of black and red and on the sides of his head were bull like ears.

"Hello darling, did you miss me?" He said stepping closer to Blake. She backed up into the corner, frightened. "Hey! Leave her alone! She has nothing to do with this! If you want something from my mother than you can take me!" I yelled while standing up.

The man, Adam, looked at me and smirked. "Well, Yang, I don't believe we properly met. My Name is Adam Taurus, and I'm here to take back what's rightfully mine" he said while turning to Blake. Her eyes were clenched close and was shaking in fear.

"She's not yours! She doesn't belong to you!" I yelled. In a flash, he was right in front of me, smiling like a madman. He leaned into my ear and whispered. "Oh, but she is mine. I own her and I will have her Yang. She belongs to me and you are just nothing to her. Now run along and don't ever touch my Blake again" he said then pulled away from me.

I stood there frozen as he listed Blake up and walked her out the door. My anger rose and soon my vision turned red. "Neo, if you would" I watched as Roman exited the room leaving me and Neo.

She smirked and changes the color of her eyes. I cocked Ember Cilica and fired a gun shot at her, only to have it be blocked. This is gonna be a long fight.
