The first six weeks of school flew by rather quickly and you weren't even quite sure where all the time had gone. At first, getting to know each class's function and the teachers was entertaining, but soon enough every day became the same ol' boring regimen, and work never ceased to end, but regardless, you managed to handle every assignment diligently and made an effort to turn everything in on time. However, out of all the classes you attend in a day, first period was always the one that you looked forward to most. Mr. Park is just so enticing, intelligent, and clean-cut that you convinced yourself he just had to be a model on the side of his teaching career. I mean, how could he not be? The man had it all.
Every other Sunday, you'd go shopping for new accessories or clothes because you often found yourself wanting to look your best at school, and you had no idea why, but unfortunately your summer's savings began to run out due to the habit, and your mother responded to it by reminding you not to spend all of your money on "school supplies."
In the month of October one chilly morning, you woke up early so that you could spend extra time curling your hair; an hour to be exact. Despite the burns and aching muscles you acquired, your hair turned out nicely. When you were finished, you hopped into your car and drove. The fresh bouncy curls lifted your confidence and left you feeling refreshed, so you put on your favorite song and before you knew it, your car was parked at school and you walked through the front door, still early as ever. After a week of not seeing each other, you and Tammy spent as much time as you could together before you declared you had to attend morning tutoring for Mr. Park's class. As you both walked through the corridors, you used those couple of minutes to catch her up on everything that she had missed while you two were apart.
"I know right? And then like a week ago after class when I was talking to him about extra credit, he told me that I had an eyelash on my cheek and I couldn't get it, so he literally took it off for me!! Can you believe that?" You spoke excitedly, Tammy's eyes widening with every word you spewed. "Oh my god.. No way!! I.. He really did that?" You grabbed her arm and looked into her eyes, swooning over the memory."Yes, he really did that." The two of you walked to your first period class with your arms linked as Tammy told you about a recent college offering, and you excitedly congratulated her before she headed off to class. Tammy was an extremely smart girl, and you always knew she'd be successful. Before stepping into class, you tucked a stray hair behind your ear and entered, automatically going about your daily routine. Take out your journal, copy down and answer the warm-up, then grab the worksheet off of the teacher's desk and answer the questions. By now, you had gotten quite efficient at doing all of those things, so in less than five minutes you had already gotten up from your desk to retrieve the worksheet of the day. Mr. Park's brief case sat on his desk beside the computer, along with a Starbucks coffee cup propped beside that, so it was evident that he was indeed at school. Looking at the time on your phone, it read 8:15 A.M.
You always made sure to be early to first period whenever you had the chance so you could finish up on your work ahead of time, and usually didn't even need to ask questions because everything could either be found online or in the textbook. Sitting down happily in silence, you begun working. It was always so peaceful in the mornings before school, because your first period class was not one to focus or sit still at all. Mr. Park constantly had to remind students to sit down and complete their work, and even to sometimes stop talking altogether because he couldn't focus on anything with their behavior. Even you found it difficult to concentrate on your work for other classes because of how obnoxious they could get. Sometimes, it just drove you absolutely insane.
After finishing up the last sentence on your worksheet, you got up and turned it into the grading tray. Just then, you begun to feel thirsty and also a bit nervous from the thought that Mr. Park could walk in at any moment, so you started toward the open doorway. However since you were looking down, you bumped into someone's hard chest. Lifting your head timidly, you noticed an ID hanging from the person's neck reading "Park Jimin," and you immediately backed up, feeling your cheeks flush again. "Oh my gosh, I'm so so sorry.. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." Mr. Park smiled sweetly and simply made his way around you, sitting in his chair and typing into his computer. "Ah, don't worry about it. I'm always bumping into people too. It's my fault." You stood still facing the doorway, closing your eyes tightly while your cheeks burned up. "Ah.. I-I'll be right back, Mr. Park." You declared anxiously, glancing back at him momentarily before leaving in a hurry. Oh my god oh my god, he's so sweet and nice! How could I ever stop liking him?
