Her dad was always the light at the end of the tunnel but that same damn tunnels looking dark and Gray. She keeps quiet at the back of the class and when the bell rings Steven hurries home fast.

I was woken up by my mom. She is being oddly gentle. I get up and put on a fake smile. Because after all I still love my mom. I take a quick shower and put my hair in a bun and put on a sweater and some dark wash jeans and gray hightop vans. I walked down the stairs saying bye to my mom and leaving. I think about how motivational my dad was as I walk to school with a few stray tears rolling down my face. I wipe my tears and head straight to home room as I arrive at the school. I sit down and lay my head down crying. No one trying to comfort me. Not even my teacher.

When the last bell rung I stood up getting put as quickly as possible. "Oh look it's the shim." I let the mean comment roll of my sholders and head towards the front door everyone was walking out of.
