It's just not right blurting out how much I love coming here to Ludič, I must admit that it's not the best place in the world... But i always feel lucky and free here! The flowers I ride past are like a movie in action where the import mailman goes past beautiful fauna rapidly. Today I put my hair up as the sun never seems to leave me (laughs) but everyone knows how much I love summer so there's nothing to complain about. My gut is telling me I'm in for something different today in Ludič, in a good way. I arrive at the shops hoping to see an item to buy and keep for a long time. The shopkeeper wants me to turn around so she can put a necklace on me to see if I like it. As I check it out on the small mirror in front of me, a gentleman says "that looks nice" with a grin.
I smile (as always) and say "thank you" and the big smile on my face won't leave! He looks around as if he is a tourist here in Ludič... "Are you from around here?" I simply ask "no I'm from Pelin" he mumbled. I gasped "I've heard of that place, it's very far from here right?" He giggled "yeah! It took a few months to ship here, but it was worth it". "Did you want to buy it?" The shopkeeper asked after minutes went by. But I wasn't so sure as there was so much selling at the shops and I only had a few ucres. "I'll come back later" I I un surely told her, "bye! hope to see you later, oh what was your name?" I smiled and said, "Blazo, and you?" Mumbling again. "Jelena" I said waiting for us to say our good byes, "bye Jelena" he said with a short wave. I stopped by the fruits as they looked so blossom, "who's the boy?" The fruit shopkeeper asked with a cheeky grin. "Oh, just a tourist I met now" I smiled and looked back at the fruit. "Be careful with tourists like that" as she was re arranging some fruits beside me, I looked straight back to her in the eyes then laughed without knowing what the warning meant.
So I picked some cherries as I was feeling like sweet stuff in this time of the day. "That's 4 ucres" she said with her hand out and a grin on her face, looking like she is still warning me. I pay her and walk back to my bike at entrance, where the boys are playing around. My bike was there luckily but I could feel like someone was watching me, as if one of boys were having an eye on me through out the shops. So I quickly look around, I remember in the glance I saw a boy and his own bike staring at me, but Ludič had more to offer so I rode to the bakery shop that was just on the corner from here. The breeze on my face made me think, think about what had happened before when I felt that gut feeling.
"Smells so nice" I Say to myself hopping off my bike entering the bakery shop. As I wait in line I hear anther bike stop at the bakery, but didn't turn around. "Prossimo" the shopkeeper said, not knowing an Italian worked here. "Two cornettos please" as I was feeling hungry in the moment. "6 ucres thanks" as she was in a hurry to get to the other customers. I get back on my bike, thinking I should go home and then eat. It takes me 5 minutes to get back home to Zehkda so I didn't mind. I felt like someone was following me now but I wasn't so sure so i just kept riding back home and enjoying the breeze! So much time has gone by and I'm at home, "Jelena, where were you?" My mama asked as she slightly knew. "I went to Ludič shops!" I shouted as she was in the kitchen. Just before I close the door a note flys inside...
