It was a nice autumn afternoon and the wind was blowing softly. Issac was at a park when he got a call. "Hello," it was Sam, one of his friends he knew before he joined the military, "what are you doing," she asked. "I'm planning to host a little party at this house I inherited," he said, "It was my grandfather's. I'm gonna check it out today and see why he gave it to me." He laughed, "He also left me $10,000 with a note saying 'Do what you want', so I was gonna spend some on Rin and this party." Rin was Isaac's girlfriend. "What are you gonna get her," Sam said. "I don't know yet, but I do know that it's gonna cost a lot," he said, "I should probably go check out that house he left me. I'll call you tomorrow." "Okay," Sam said, "I'll talk to you tomorrow." And he hung up. "Let's go see what the old man left for me in that house," he said to himself.
When he got there, the house was in good condition, much to his surprise. When he opened the door, he was greeted by six people, all dressed in dress clothes. One of them said, "Welcome young master." He was confused. "Young master," he thought. "Was my grandfather lord of this house. Whatever he was, I'm the new master apparently." He said, "Can I see a map of the house. If I'm the new owner of this house, I need to get myself adjusted to all the rooms." "Which map would you like to see, the guest map or the master's map," one of them said. "What's the difference," he said. One of them left the area to get something. "You'll see," another said. A few minutes later, the one that left came back with two maps and handed them both to me. "Thank you," he said. He then opened the guest map and saw all the rooms in the house. He then opened the master's map, and saw the rooms of the house, and secret doors, chambers, and passages. One of the hidden rooms was labeled 'Chamber of Echoes'. "What's the chamber of echoes" he asked them, "more importantly, what are your names?" They answered,"Simon, Axel, Hayner, Vanille, Ashley, Alexis. Pleased to meet you Isaac." Axel spoke up, "The chamber of echoes is an altar in the middle of a room, with weapons lining the walls, a hidden door, and if you listen closely, you can hear the souls of the damned, screaming and howling. Just thinking about it makes me happy. Let us know if you need anything Isaac."
He went and explored the house and found a game room, torture room, and underground hotspring. "It's amazing isn't it Isaac," Axel said. Isaac laughed, "How long have you been following me Axel, and why have you been following me." Axel said, "I wanted to make sure that you didn't get hurt. Wouldn't want you to get hurt and Rin find out, right?" Isaac froze, "How do you know about Rin?" Axel said, "You make it obvious that you have someone you care about, and someone came by earlier, asking where you were. I told them that you were out and wouldn't be back until noon. She told me that her name was Rin. I put two and two together and figured it out. When are you gonna have her over?" Isaac was relieved, "I'm gonna bring her over as soon as I can actually. If you'll pick her up, I'll let you know when I'll have her over. Maybe she'll spend the night." Axel walked off to help fix lunch.
It was 11:30. Isaac made his way to the dining room and noticed that Axel and Vanille were missing. "Where are Axel and Vanille?," Isaac asked. "Someone knocked on the door a few minutes ago and they went to answer the door. They should be back soon." Simon said. Isaac noticed something else, an extra plate. "Are we expecting company?" Isaac asked. "The company is here already," Axel said. Before Isaac could turn around, he was tapped on the nose and hugged. "It's me, Rin." she said.
He couldn't believe it. She was here. He wasn't expecting to see her here until he himself got used to being in this house. "Axel, did you plan this, or did she surprise you too?" he asked. "A mix of both Issac, we all pitched in and gave her an invitation, location, and time. I offered to give her a ride, but she said that she wouldn't ride with me unless you were there. I guess she had her own way up here. We were expecting her, but we didn't know when she would get here. Why, do you have something planned?" Axel said. "I had something planned later, but now will have to do." Isaac said.
Isaac showed her around the main house. He wouldn't show her the secrets yet. She needs to get used to the first house before he showed her the secrets. He showed her to the library, then the living room, and finally, the grand hall. "What do you think?", he asked.
"It's amazing," she said, "and it being yours just makes it better." Isaac asked, "How old are you now Rin? Because you can stay if you want, we might even be able to have a little fun." She smiled, "I'm nineteen now. Yesterday was my birthday. If you want to have fun, you'll have to make me go with you." "Why is that," Isaac asked. "Because I'm being defiant," she said. "Defiance gets you nowhere. You should know that Rin. I still have a little something from when we were still in high school. Maybe I should get rid of them." He pulled something out of his pocket and held them in front of her. It was his claws. Rin loved them. It was his mark of being an alpha. "Fine," she said, "you win. Where are you going to take me?" Isaac smiled, "I'm not telling."
