Selena looked down in confusion to Justin's hand on her wrist her eyebrows furrowing as she looked up at him. What could he possibly want. Why couldn't he just leave her alone before it became harder than it already was for her to leave her daughter once again.
"Can you be Emory's babysitter?" Justin's asked.
"What?!" Selena said shocked by Justin's request.
"Please" he said just as Selena was about to release herself from his grip and go past the door. She wanted to leave because she knew if she stayed any longer it would be harder for her to walk away and once again leave her daughter.
"Im sorry I just can't" Selena said opening the door and and walking out. Justin opened it and went after her before she could walk back out of the corridor and into the restaurant. He grabbed her by the wrist once again "Please" he said one more time. Selena stopped and looked at him to meet his desperate eyes.
"I know this is gonna sound crazy but she needs someone it's so hard to find a woman she likes other than my mom but with you it was just so natural she let you change her and she even giggled with you, you might think it's just a giggle no biggie but to me it's more than that as her dad I want nothing but her happiness and in the past month there was times when she cried and even though she doesn't mention her I know she misses her mom there was only a few times when she said mama and cried her little heart out hoping that her mother would come back for her and hold her, but after a about a week and a half she just cried it's like she forgot or she knows that her mother left but that doesn't change the fact that she still feels like there's something missing she needs a woman figure all I'm asking is for you to give a bit of your day to spend with her I'll give you all the money you want you know that's the least of my worries." Justin said his eyes bloodshot from the tears he was holding in. Selena let a few tears slip before she made her decision. It was her daughter and as a mother she would do anything to be near her daughter once again, even if that meant being replaced once Justin got married and instead of Emory calling Selena mom she would call the new lady mom and she would always be her nana. Just her nana nothing more nothing less. But she's going to be near her and that was all that mattered. So hesitantly she agreed.
"I'll be her babysitter." Selena smiled and wiped her tears. Justin smiled and hugged Selena which caught her off guard but nonetheless hugged him back. "Oh by the way I'm Justin Bieber" he said releasing her from the hug and extending his arm out for Selena to shake a smile present on his face. Selena laughed and shook his hand "Selena. Selena Gomez" she said shaking his hand. The laughed and let go and walking back in the family restroom.
"Can you start today?" Justin asked.
Selena thought about it before she decided that she would agree and just stop by at Angie's later and tell her she wouldn't be working there she knew Angie would understand. "Yeah" Selena smiled, her smile only grew as she saw Alfredo doing weird faces to which Emory laughed.
"DADA!" Emory beamed reaching her arms out for Justin to hold her. Justin smiled and picked her up "is my princess feeling better? Hhm baby? How about we go to the studio and watch daddy sing princess?" Selena smiled as she watched Justin and Emory she sure did love him a lot.
"Ya!" Emory said leaning into Justin's shoulder. He laughed and kissed the top of her head. "Look baby this is Selena she's gonna be your babysitter" Justin smiled down at Emory. "Ya. Ya" she giggled cutely scrunching her nose up in the process. Selena smiled and reached her arms out for Emory to which Emory gladly leaned into. "Hi princess" Selena cooed and kissed her cheek placing Emory on her hip. Emory giggled and cuddled up to Selena's chest shoving her thumb in her mouth and sucking on it. "Lets go" Justin smiled opening the door for Selena. Selena smiled and walked out with Emory in her arms. As soon as they were in the truck she texted Priscilla that she had to go since she got called in for work early and put her phone away. They left the restaurant through the back of the building to avoid the paparazzi they made their way towards the studio where Justin introduced Selena to Scooter and he recorded a few more songs for his upcoming album. After Justin finished recording for the day he walked out and extended his arms for Emory "come to daddy princess." He grinned. Emory smiled cheekily "nawwww" she said shying away from his arms leaning on Selena. They were currently sitting on the small carpet, Emory in the middle of Selena's legs as Selena read a book that had little holes to shove your fingers and act out the characters. Selena looked down at Emory and giggled causing Emory giggle along with Selena.
