3rd person POV

The next morning, Keith was covering the hell markings called scars on his arm. Shiro was making breakfast in the kitchen (he decided to keep Keith company overnight), being the lovable man he is he thought "I hope to fuck he's ok in there..." suddenly he felt a pair of arms tiredly draped around his waist. "G'mornin' sunshine you ok?." Shiro turned and smiled down at the little sleepy mess behind him. "Mornin' I'm fine..." is all Keith muttered out. "Still tired are we?" Shiro said with a chuckle. "I wanna die..." Keith muttered out again being blunt. "Not a morning person?" Shiro laughed. Keith shushed him and wobbled on his twiggy legs over to the couch and flopped down on it with an "OOF!" And the only thing that Keith heard was Shiro laughing and Keith shushed him again.

After they ate their breakfast they sat on the lavender couch and watched TV. Keith had his head rested on Shiro's lap and Shiro was stroking Keith's hair with his human hand. Keith was purring softly like a kitten and Shiro had no clue why. The light of Keith's phone was too bright, so Shiro had told him to turn the brightness down in which he obeyed.

Shiro POV

Keith's hair is soft under my touch and the purring sound is cute but it's making me question if he is par- nope, can't be, never will be.

"You're really cute." I said calmly stroking his hair. He just went red and covered his face. He's so cute. "I-I g-guess you're c-cute too I-I think?" Keith stuttered. Aww, he's gonna be the death of me I swear to baby Jesus and the donkey.

Keith POV

I stuttered... I fucking stuttered... I'm so lame... why did I fucking stutter!?... and why did I call him cute??? He's more than cute! Handsome even! What snapped me out of my thoughts was the familiar ding on my phone. I look to see who it was... of course... fucking McClain...

Lance and I were cadets before I got booted out... he never liked me and I guess he has every right to not like me...

I looked at the now dim screen and I see an offensive text message that my religion prevents me from repeating.

The air catches in my throats and Shiro asks "who's that?" I lift my shaky hand letting him take the phone and read the text Lance sent.

3rd person

Shiro wasn't happy about the text he read from Keith's phone so he got up and put his boots on and ran through the busy streets to get to Lance's house, not knowing Keith was following not long behind. To say Shiro was mad was an understatement... he was FURIOUS! LIVID! God knows honestly what he was feeling but he wasn't impressed anyway...

When he got there he knocked on the hardwood door with a massive force. "Open up McClain!" He shouted furiously feeling fire in his eyes. He heard rushing coming from inside the building. "Open up you piece of shit!" Shiro shouted in the letterbox. "Sorry what?" Lance said with a snarky tone. "Did I fucking stutter!?" Shiro litteraly growled. Shiro nearly took the door off the hinges at this point. "McClain you better hope for a miracle!!!" Shiro roared. Lance sheepishly opened the door.

Keith was scared, he honestly was, he never saw Shiro like this, even before the Kerberos mission he always saw Shiro to be the calm and composed type. When Shiro walked out the door he had blood on his knuckles, not a lot but, a little bit. The rain was now plummeting down from the sky, crashing off the road. Keith hadn't put on a good jacket. "Did you follow me here?" Is all he heard. "Huh?" He turned around and saw his one and only standing there. "Here," Shiro said placing his jacket over Keith's shoulders, "sorry you had to see me like that..." he said, "lets get you home Kay?" He continued with a smile.

When they got home, Shiro had changed into some track-pants and a sweatshirt and told Keith to get changed too. Shiro went to Keith's room and got the soft, warm quilt from the bed and placed it over him and Keith. They sat watching shows on Netflix and just enjoying each other's presence and warmth. "Hey, Shiro?" Keith asked. "Yea?" Shiro replied tiredly. "I got you something." Keith said happily. "Really? What is it?" Shiro asked curiously twirling Keith's hair with his fingers. Keith walks to his room and brings out a box with holes in it. He sits down on the sofa careful not to shake the box. "Look inside" Keith smiled. Shiro slowly opened the flaps of the box and gasps. "No way!"
