Mech-X4 One-Shots

A Friend Down

Summary: lately more and more monsters have been attacking Bay City. This has left Ryan feeling tried . All the damage the ship and Ryan take has caused Ryan horrible headaches and dizziness. After a fight with a monster , the mech-x4 team head back to their secret base, Rayn faints.

Just a heads up most of this one-shot may be in 3rd person POV .

After the fight with the latest monster , Ryan was barely able to get the crew and ship back to their base. He nearly fainted and hit the floor , but thankfully Mark caught him just in time . For Mark this was really hard , to see his little brother nearly pass out in front of him , made him scared , though he'd never admit it .

This had been the  fourth monster to show up in one week. Each monster was stronger than the last , the crew barely made it out of this fight. The ship as well as Ryan was beaten up . Mark went to work on fixing the mech-x , while Harris took Ryan to the ships medical bay and Spyder went home after his mom called  . Harris laid Ryan down on one of the medical beds , to which rayn whimpered in pain . This was especially hard for Harris.

For Harris he felt like this was all his fault , it was his job as the ships defense to make sure they never took on to much damage . To him , he felt like he failed the team. The ship was extremely damaged and so was Ryan. He'd just finished bandaging up Ryan's wounds , which would heal after ship was fixed and made his way down to the X-deck .

4-hour timeskip

Mark's POV : Its been hours since I finished fixing the ship and Ryan's still out !! This was taking to long , I finished the ships repairs around 1pm , now its 4!! I'm gonna lose it , I  can't sit still for five minutes! FIVE.WHOLE.MINUTES, that's all I ask ! So I went down to the X-deck to just try to take my mind off things , when I see Harris . He's just sitting there looking really upset .

M:yo Harris , any word on Ryan?
H:*sighs* he'll be ok, he just needs to sleep.
M: hey.....you not gonna give me typical nerdy answer about his brain and stuff!
H: I'm not really in the mood, I'm gonna go check on Ryan, *leaves*.

(End of Mark's POV , back to 3rdperson )

Harris got back to the medical bay, only to see his friend in the same condition he'd left him in four hours earlier. Ryan looked so tired and beaten up , it was getting late and Harris knew his parents would freak if he wasn't home . But he didn't want to leave his friend , the time was now 5:10pm and he had to leave , Mark said they'd be staying overnight since their mom was on a business trip and didn't get back till Tuesday. So with that Harris packed his stuff ,got on his bike and road through the cool autumn air back home.

Time skip , next day

Harris could barely get out the house and back to his friends fast enough. As soon as he got to the base , he ran inside . He was making his way to the medical bay when he was stopped  by  a noise , it sounded like two
people ...laughing! He rounded the corner to see Mark and a fully healed Ryan sitting in front of him!

Harris was so happy to see that his friend was alright , but on the other hand he still felt like it was all his fault. He tried to slowly turn and leave , but it was to late he was already spotted.

R:hey harris , what's up !?
H:n-nothing...I'm gonna go.
M,R: But you just got here?
H:*sighs* yeah , I'm glade your okay Ryan.
R:*Harris wait!

Ryan stopped Harris right before he left the medical bay , something about Harris was off . Mark left saying he was going to do some cooler Mark Walker stuff . So Ryan took the time to see what was up with his friend .

R:Yo man, what's up?
H:its nothing
R:yeah I can tell your lying , your nose switched...twice.So you gonna tell me what's up.
H:*sighs* I just...I feel like.... It was my fault you got hurt!
R:what do you mean?
H:if I was better at defense then you wouldn't gotten so beat up!!
R:i-i....harris look , its not your fault . Everybody gets beat up.
H:but.
R:dude you can't stop everything , we as a team can only do our best , OK.
H:yeah man , thanks I needed that.
R:no problem . now come on , I wanna test out the repairs to mech-x4.
H:sure dude , let's go !!

Everything was back to normal . Ryan was healed, Harris stopped blaming himself and everything  was going to be okay.
