Elises POV

I walked into the pack house Jareds smell hitting me like a slap to the face.

"Elise." Alpha Derek acknowledged. I bowed my head.

"Yes alpha." I said just above a whisper.

Let me tell you Derek is a man whore. He's been trying to get in my pants for a while now.

"Come here." He ordered.

I slowly walked toward him hitching Susana onto my hip. Then the voice I wanted to forget since. rejection spoke.

"Elise?" Jared questioned.

I slowly stopped in my tracks and turned around.

"What?" I tried to say calmly. Key word tried.

So in other words it came out as a growl. Within seconds Jared was in front of me shoving me against the wall.

"Do not speak to me that way." He hissed.

I flinched away from him. Susana whispered quietly stuffing her head in my neck. She shook fiercely and I felt her wet tears on my shoulder.

Apperently that was the first time Jared noticed her because he snapped his neck in her direction. His face dropped and rage filled his eyes.

"Who's is she?" He asked trying to calm down.

"I'm surprised you don't recognize your own daughter. I'm surprised you let this slut carry your child." Abriana the pack slut said in her extremely annoying screechy voice.

My head snapped to her.

"The only slut I see is you." I stated trying to keep a straight face.

Jared didn't say anything. Probably shocked.

I took that chance to shove him off me. Only for him to be replaced by Derek.

I quickly slipped out of his arms and muttered some profanities under my breath. Most because of Derek and the rest because of Jared.

He was going to make my life a living hell.
