A Name For Her

Another week passed by. More attacks have been reported as the major powerhouses fell into Ashton's hands. Many of Fantasia's best guards and warriors were killed already. Nobody was safe anymore. Not even Casper, Thomas, Karla, or Kristin. Destiny walked over to the window as she pointed out the cloud of smoke in a nearby village. No matter where they went, they felt as if Ashton was tracking them. Karla looked out the window and reached for her blades as Georgina stopped her,

Geo; "You need your rest m'lady. Besides, your daughter needs you."
Kar; "Peter is taking care of her."
Geo; "Ok. Wait, do you have a name for her yet?"
Kar; "No... I can't think of one right now with all this going on... Ugh, it's too dangerous for the baby to grow up in such as this one..."
Des; "Agreed m'lady."
Kar; "Not you too..!" 😬
Des; "Can I not call you that?"
Kar; "It's just weird how you used to call me by my real name all the time..."
Des; "Oh... Wait, if you're known as "Lady Karla", then if you all of a sudden decide to marry Peter, would he be known as -"
Kar; "W-What?! Why would I do that?!" *blushes* 😳
Kam; "Ooh, she's blushing!!" 😏
Kar; "KAM WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!" 😨
Kam; "From my mom!" 😆
Des; "And also, where's your cloak?"
Kar; "Probably in my room."
Des; "You meant to say, our room??" 😏
Kar; *blushes more* "HEY!!"
Des; "You should also take off that cloak more often - maybe Peter will like your smexay shoulde -"
Kar; *slaps her*
Des; "I'M OUT!"
Kar; "Or you could say, I'm ow-t!" 😆
Kam; "YE SLAP THAT FACE, THEN SLAP DAT BOOTAY!!" 😂

*awkward silence*

Pet; "Hey Karla, she opened her eyes."
Kar; "She did?"
Pet; "Yeah - reminds me of you when you're sleeping."
Kar; "You watch me sleep??" -~-
Pet; "ANYWAYS, you should check on her." ⊙~⊙
Kar; "Yeah!" ^ω^

Karla held the baby in her arms as she pulled at her long black hair - shining in the light, it appeared dark brown. They baby's eyes were blue like Peter's, but it's hair appearing to be dark like Karla's. Peter looked at them as they sat down on the rug,

Kar; "Heh... She looks as if she's actually ours..."
Pet; "True... Hey Karla, I've been wanting to tell you something..."
Kar; "Yeah?"
Pet; "You remind me of my old girlfriend - Sophie. Not Sophia - Sophie..."
Kar; "Why?" 😕
Pet; "She was strong, tough, diligent, and not afraid to turn down a challenge, yet kind and gentle on the inside. Like you, I loved her and I vowed to protect her from any danger. Then I lost her... I could've protected her..." 😔
Kar; "I'm... Sorry..."
Pet; "And I won't let the same happen to you..." *holds her hand*
Kar; "I guess we both lost someone in our lives..." 😔
Pet; "All of us have. We all lost our parents and our relatives."
Kar; "True..."
Baby; *pulls Karla's hair*
Kar; "And we still don't have a name for her..."
Pet; "We will. Anyways, I smell Amelia's cheesy potatoes. I'm going downstairs and I'll make sure to save you some!"
Kar; "Thanks. I'll spend time up here." *smiles*

Karla went down the stairs with the baby as everyone turned their attention to her as she began to speak,

Kar; "I have a name for her."
Kam; "Well, spill it!!" *tips over a bowl of beans*  😬
Kar; "I decided to name her Sophie..."
Pet; "S-Sophie... I was thinking maybe... Nekie. After... Her, and Neko."
Sop; "Sophie... You told her too?"
Pet; "I did."
Kar; "Then Nekie it is. I'll be outside eating. It's nice out, you know." 😃

Sop; "Karla reminds me of your description of Sophie..."
Pet; "Yeah... Sophie is sweet, but Karla just needed more time to show that side to her. She should be more open about her feelings..."
Sop; "So do you!" 😏
Pet; *blushes* "HEY!!"
Sop; "What? Isn't it fun to tease your friend?" 😆
Pet; "W-Well..!"
Sop; *sighs* "Tell me what's on your mind my friend." 😤
Pet; "Fiiine! It's about Karla..."
Sop; "And?"
Pet; "I... Want to propose to her when I get the chance..." *blushes more and smiles a little*

Sophia covered her mouth as soon as she heard that response. There, she let out a high-pitched scream which cracked the windows on the right. Destiny and Amelia held out their weapons as they jumped down the stairs,

Des; "DON'T WORRY SOPH - WE'LL PROTECT YOU!!"
