Sitting on the couch and reading with the TV on as background noise, (m/c) was interrupted by a certain someone coming down the hall. "AH! (m/c)!" He said coming toward you at an alarmingly fast pace. "Whaa-what?"(m/c) said slowly backing itching more into the cushion. Diarmuid held a flyer in front of your face. "What is this?" Squinting at the paper in confusion. "It was tapped to the apartment door when I got home a few moments ago, it looks important." Reading more carefully..it was a lady of the landlord of the complex..."Ah...so it is.." You said with a dazed look and went back to reading your book. "(m/c)! It says that they are doing a check on the residents due to recent complaints..." You waved your hand back and forth, "I wouldn't worry, since we don't really bother anyone or cause any issues, plus they say this like one or twice a year and never do it. Don't worry." "If you say so, but I have been living with you for the past few months and haven't see anything too dangerous or of worry." You went back to reading then felt the couch sink by your feet. "Yes?" You said raising an eyebrow. He looked like a dog wanting attention, you could almost see the tail wagging. "I would just wanting to sit by you and partake in relaxing, my lady." Blinking. "Oh-ok, and hey we talked about the 'my lady' stuff." Shifting your eyes back to the book. You saw now that Dia was also reading. The warmth of the sun coming in and the air just fresh made you want to curl up and sleep. This was the life, happy and content. As you started to doze off you heard your phone go off. It was a reminder message to do your essays. Picking up the phone, you became distracted with other things on it. During this time you completely forgot Dia was right in front of you. Staring right at you. He just watched you and enjoyed it, how you would act and respond was something that always made him curious. He drew nearer toward (m/c) legs, nearly breathing down on her until she noticed. Finally looking up in surprise a blush came across (m/c)'s face. "Why are you so close?" Trying not to make eye contact. The book now on the floor and cellphone still in your hand. He just rested his face on your chest which made your heart skip a beat. "Ok..your freaking me out not saying anything." "Did you know how beautiful you are?" Finally making eye contact (m/c) face flushed with pink. "What?" Laughing a bit. "I'm serious (m/c)!" "Ok-ok." Laughing still.
Creeping closer toward your face and his look becoming more serious and fierce, hands both on opposites sides of your head. "What..." "(m/c) I'm serious.." He went in for a kiss. It was sweet and passionate. You laughed a bit after word to hide how embarrassed you were. "I'm honestly really happy with just being with you, by your side, forever. (m/c)." Still looking you dead in the eye. "I know. This is the most happy I have ever been, Dia." You ruffled his hair. Still laying on top of you, gently so he wouldn't crush you, you began to fall asleep. This really was something to cherish.
