I knew I had to forget the past but it's so hard when someone just turns your life upside down and thinking you can never get away from it. I crawled to the corner of my dirty "room" and put my head between my knees and covered myself. Then there was a knock on the door and saw a tall man with a tray that had food. Disgusting food that makes you want to puke. Yeah, that bad. I looked at him weirdly because of all of all fifteen years of my life staying here, I've never seen the guy. But who cares since I thought he was a newcomer so i put my head down.
"What's your name?" The strange man asked me?
"Wanda, Wanda Maximoff."
"Well Wanda, I'm gonna free you from this disgusting horrible place." Though I don't like your father very much and I suppose you don't either."
I was shocked at his words when he said he would free me.
"Wha- what? You can't free me. I'm suppose to be here for the rest of my life,I mean I want to be free but I can't."
"If you come with me,you can be free and never have to come back here ever again." The man was holding out his and looked like he wasn't joking at all.
Part of me wanted to jump and take his hand but the other part was a little skeptical. But I really wanted to get out of here and actually have a life. Like who doesn't!?
I took the man's hand. He smiled at me and looked like he cared about me.
"Don't ask how we're gonna get out of here,just follow me and don't talk."I just nodded my head and followed him. I let him lead me and actually got me out. I honestly didn't know how he got it away with me. I thought the guys who work over here were smarter but I guess not.
Once we got outside,there was a limo and once the door opened,something started to happen to the man who freed me. He started to shift and instead of a man, it turned into a dark blue red haired tall woman. I gawked at her and she chuckled.
"This my real form Wanda and my name is Mystique. I'll explain everything in the car and when you get out,you will be having a real home with companions that you'll meet but one of them you'll know."
I made a confused look on my face. I didn't know anyone. I've been stuck there pretty much my whole life, but I just got in and let whatever her name was again explain to me.
Once we got into the limo she told me everything that the house you're gonna live in are also full of mutants and told me a little bit about my father ex. I had know idea that my dad was a criminal and that he wanted to be feared by "regular humans."(people who don't have powers) We got there and I opened the door. I looked up and saw a really big but kind of old house. It looked like it was kind of tattered now that I looked closer and totally made the house looks bad. But other then that it looked okay. Mystique shakes her head and kind of looks angry.
"Forgive me, those boys messed the house up a lot. I'm going to lecture them for not taking care of the house."
"It's fine, I'm okay with this" I said giving her a reassuring smile,kind of being a little nervous about the boys part.
She smiled at me back.
"Well let's meet your new roommates" she said ahead of me"
"Um, okay"
I followed her and she opened the door and as soon she opened the door,I saw four guys standing there waiting for me and Mystique.
"Gentlemen,meet your new secret weapon"
