Derrick and I have had a lot happen to us after Jessa & Ben's 2nd child, Elise May Seewald, was born. We became pregnant with our 2nd child after trying for 2 years! Bodhi Derrick Dillard was born on December 23, 2018. After that, we had our 3rd child, a girl named Indie Acacia Dillard who was born on August 24, 2020. Then, Matteo Daniel Dillard was born June 1, 2021. Darrin John Dillard was born May 18, 2023. Following Darrin, Aden Euphrates Dillard was born on January 4, 2025. Later, on April 19, 2026, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I was just barely 4 months pregnant with baby #7, whom we found out was a girl. The doctors said that I was at extremely high-risk pregnancy, and that the sensible thing to do was to abort it. I couldn't do chemotherapy if I was pregnant, but of course I can't take the innocent baby's life! I miscarried at 27 weeks, though. I quickly underwent chemo and was cancer-free about 7 weeks later. The doctors said it was nearly impossible to have another child, and if I did become pregnant, they would have no choice but to abort it. So, we waited a while until our youngest, Aden, was 7 years old to decide to become foster parents. We got certified 2 years later and are now expecting our first foster child. His name is Anthony, he is 11 and from New Guinea. He is coming in 3 weeks, the whole family is super excited!
