Chapter 16 :

- Party

We were all having fun and partying , dancing , and stuff .

" So you really like Prince ? " one of Jacob's friends asked me .

" No , I love him . "

" Awww y'all have been together for awhile , right ? "

" Yeah . " I said walking over to Prince who seemed to be also enjoying himself .

" Cool party right ? " he said .

" Yeah there's a lot of cool people here . " I said . He began to stare hard at someone or something so I followed his stare , it was Troy .

" Do you want to leave ? " he asked me .

" No he can't ruin this party .. just ignore him and have fun . "

He gave me a smile

that I love , " Thats my girl . " he kissed my forehead making me smile .

After a couple minutes of talking and dancing with Prince I told him I was getting a drink . I went to get my drink then I felt someone tap me . I turned around to see Troy .

" Hey Yn . " he said softly .

" Hi .." I said continuing to get my drink .

" So your in Cali I see . "

" Yeah I just got here last night . "

" Well hows your family ? "

" Good , " I sipped my drink , " listen lets not act like everything is good when its not , Troy . I want to continue to enjoy myself so if you just stay out of my way for the rest of the night we're cool . " I said walking away but he followed me .

" Yn I'm sorry , can't you forgive me ? "

" Yes I forgive you just leave me alone . " I said walking away .

Troy's POV :

My best friend absolutely hates me . I fucked up , it feels like she stabbed me in my heart . It hurts so bad because I love her so much . She knows everything about me and I know everything about her . Plus that nigga Princeton cheated on her with Bella . I fucking hate this ..

I sit myself down and stare at Yn dancing all on Prince and laughing with him , they look so happy .

" Whats wrong bro ? " Dj Tee asked me .

" Shouldn't you be up there playing tracks and enjoying yourself . "

" Its playing isn't it , " he said sitting beside me , " Why are you looking at Princeton's girl ? "

" Cause' that used to be my best friend .. I miss her but she hates me now . "

" Man you gotta just try and get her back , and if that dosen't work just leave her alone . She'll probably need you within a year or so . "

" I guess . "

" Your my bro and all but you can't be droughting out my energy at my party . So ethier get ya ass up and enjoy yourself or get ya ass up outta here nigga . "

I stared at the fool then we both cracked a smile . I then got up and we did a brotherly hug , " Thanks bro . " I said .

"No problem , ayy hows that girl I hooked you up with ? "

" She's okay I guess . "

" Well ? "

" Thanks . "
