today // 14th of november. 4:00+ GMT

I had the best day of my life.

I spent a whole day with a guy-friend in the most platonic way but aside from that, the fact I didn't attend class seemed to incite negative feelings of failure alongside excitement that I escaped from a double Math class and teachers who'd dodder on and on.

My friend, you ask?
Yes, it's a boy from my grade and I won't mention his name till I decide.

Well, we started talking on Sunday—which was the 13th and somehow it clicked. Me and him spent an entire day, not leaving each other's back.

A funny edge of our introduction was when I told him I knew French—Immediately, he made me introduce myself in the language because  he'd understood my proficiency. . . thus earning me applause.

'Let's see each other again,' A spark of hope ignited in my soul and as we waved our goodbye for the day, it was obvious that firstly, surely I was going to tell this to my close friend and, also I wouldn't sleep.

On 14th morn, I encountered a slight hassle with my mother but it was as influential as 1/100.

As soon as I entered the music room after roll call, my guy friend is the one who abruptly catches my sight and waves as I return the greeting.

After our first practice, my music teacher decided all vocalists to rest their voices but I wasn't a vocalist—what did I do?

Well, I engaged in a lovely conversation my guy friend named R Y A N.

(Since I find it tedious to always substitute his name, I'll put in his name a few times)

Okay, me and Ryan were handed large sheets of chart paper large enough to be considered a yoga mat but a size too small for a futon.
Nevertheless, we laid onto the so-called 'chart-paper futon' which was paired with my bag of clothes (unfortunately, my heels had to be removed to attain pillow-like fluffiness) and shared a mini pack of chips (or crisps; whatever helps you sleep at night) and wiled away the hours laughing and talking.

Then, there was us daring each other to sing and play guitar.

Another iconic moment was after I stepped into the music room after changing and with makeup on.

He was stunned definitely not by my beauty but with the way he looked at me, I sure confirm that he considered me pretty.

Because he said it.

"You look so good!" I heard him exclaim and chuckle.

"Thanks, you look good too." and for a moment, Ryan was flustered, I swear.

but my iconic moments montage isn't over!
no. #3 was the times I had to walk the stairs.

Stairwells and heels are not a good thing to pair with, if females get the idea.

I held Ryan's hands the whole time till I reached the end of the dreadful marble cut but around twice, no one was watching.

The third time, we got caught.
by other choir members who then started cooing and whistling; it got both of us pink in the face.

Iconic montage no. #4 was us coming 30 minutes late — or should I say, the last to the class after taking our things from the music room.

My friends (the girls) started jerking the eyebrows and gave me weird smiles as I approached them; "what were you guys doing so long?"

"Guys, me and him came across two barricaded staircases—the one next to the auditorium, between the Kindergarten and 'Lost and Found' area and, then we walked all the way from the auditorium stairwell (the farthest) to the spiral staircase (to another far end)."
Thankfully, they understood.

Lastly, we shared a whole pack of Cheetos that people were fighting over due to the fact that someone snatched it from our group and finished a major portion of it; now, no one wanted it so me and Ryan decided to eat it.
