Just as I was about to say "I want you to drop Tyler." Her little brother busted in on us. "AHHH! I SAW TITIES!!" The little brother screamed running away. Aw fuck, he ruined everything. "Um..Shay I think you should leave now." Destiny said getting off of me.
"The whole situation was awkward.
1.Babysitting would be awkward.
2.Seeing Destiny tomorrow would be awkward.
3.Seeing her hugged with Tyler the next day was AWKWARD.
I wasn't even mad at her anymore. I knew I would never compete with Tyler. Destiny was head over heels for this guy." I rolled my eyes spilling my heart out to Faith over the phone.
"Honestly Shay, you kind of put yourself in this trouble. You knew how she felt about this guy." Faith said in a serious tone. "How about I come over and we have a girls night, like the old days." Faith said trying to cheer me up.
I just don't get it, what was it about this boy Destiny liked so muh? I could treat her way better. But whatever guess it was time to move on , plus my best friend supported me the whole time.
I popped popcorn and had snacks and pizza out for me and Faith. I turned on some old Teen films. Not having Destiny gave me a reality check.
I heard a knock on the door. So I knew it was Faith. I turned down the TV and ran to the door. I flung it open smiling. "Can I come in?" Destiny said stepping in. I rolled my eyes. Of course. More of a distraction from reality. "Make it quick because Faith is coming over, and I don't need your crushing my feelings even more." I said closing the door behind her. "Look Shay, I know I been a pain in the ass lately but, I actually want to be your friend. I feel bad for leading you on so much. I guess I was caught up in the moment." She said toying with the remote.
"Yea I don't care anymore. Do you. I'll move eventually.. " I said in a fading tone. "Truth be told, I really want you. But I can't drop 4 years of Tyler so easily. I know this is sounding harsh.. but its just hard ok?!" Destiny said getting louder as tears rolled down her face. "I don't know what you did to me..but I like it and I don't wanna drop that either." She said walking up to me. "Just let me find myself first." Destiny said wiping her tears. "When I'm with you I feel like all my problems are gone." Destiny grabbed me kissing me slowly and deeply. She kissed me longer than I expected. "I think you need to go Destiny.." I said pulling away. I didn't want to be her problem escaper unless we were actually dating. "It's best if we just not talk anymore. I got in between you and your boyfriend and I'm taking all of that back. " I said opening the door.
Destiny didn't say anything she just starred at me then walked off. I felt bad but it was best for the both of us. I sat on the couch alone waiting on Faith. A few moments later Faith arrived and I got out of the sad-girl-blues and I was ready to just enjoy this girls night/slumber party.
"Its been forever since I stepped into here." Faith said kicking off her worn out uggs. "Bitch I smell pizza!" Faith said laughing. I missed hearing her laugh. "So what's your big plan for moving on?" She said throwing popcorn in her mouth. "I don't know, probably find someone that's single and actually wants me and not their quarter back buff ugly ass boyfriend." I said taking the pizza out the oven.
"You know that's gonna take forever, you had a huge crush on her. You got to kiss and fuck this girl. Ion think your moving on any time soon." Faith said handing me the pizza cutter.
"Your right and I hate that." I said laughing and began cutting the pizza. "You know there's plenty of lesbians at our school right?" Faith said. "Yea but I don't want them." I said putting slices onto a plate.
Later, on me and Faith shared a blunt together. I was a little high but whatever its been a while since I felt this feeling. "Aye shay, how does it feel when you kiss Destiny?" She said releasing the smoke from her nose. "Its like kissing someone you just wanna fuck the shit out of." I said laughing on the floor slapping my thigh. "Is that how you feel when you kiss any girl?" Faith said passing me the blunt. "I don't know I only kissed her. Have you ever even kissed a girl?" I asked her. "My mom, but not an intimate kiss. I don't think a spark would be there if I kissed a girl." She said stuffing her face with pizza.
I don't know but a sudden urge came over me. I wanted to show Faith that kissing a girl was like kissing a million bucks you won from a lottery. "Wanna try it?" I said laughing putting on Carmex. "Bitch stop. I'm serious " Faith said laughing along with me. "Lets just try a peck." She said coming to me. I grabbed her face and pecked her lips. It was silent then we busted out laughing. "Shay really that was too quick."
