The Dark Forest

Nick, surfing through the internet, saw an article while trying to find an area to camp at. The three other guys relaxing on the couch, watching TV, and Nick surfing through the internet, said "Hey guys, check this out." They all came to him to see what he was talking about, and they all saw the article that said in the title "Haunted Forest?" by New York times. The article read about three strangers that went camping. The article pronounced one of those three missing, with the two barely escaping from "entities" that were unknown in the forest. They all were thinking to themselves if this was real and if these guys were just making this story up.

Juan said "Hah, that's probably fake, seriously, it's not like it's really haunted right? It's probably a public stunt."

Leo said "Well there's a missing person and says in the article that police are investigating to find out where that missing person is. It has to be real."

Michael said in a sure voice "Yeah if police are involved in this, it has to be real right can't be some public stunt?"

Nick said in agreement "For sure, it can't be fake, and if you think it's fake why don't we head over to the Trillemarka forest then and see if these strange happenings are real?"

Juan said "Oh hell no I'm not going in that forest, I would go camping with you in any other forest but if we're going to a forest where they say crazy things happen including a missing person, I ain't going there, you're crazy!"

Nick told Juan "Dude, it'll be the four of us, don't bail out, c'mon, if you want, I can bring my firearm and we'll be safe from whatever it is that's in that forest."

Michael said "I'll come with and I'll bring my hunting rifle if it makes you feel any better/safer."

Leo said "I'll go too."

Nick told Juan "well you going, or are you too afraid of little bunnies and deers, or is it the dark you're afraid of?"

Michael said to Juan "C'mon, it's not gonna be as cool without you and anyways there's nothing in the forest but a couple animals anyways."

Juan said in a muttered voice "alright I'll go, but it better not be for long because it gets boring without internet."

Nick said in a firm voice "Alright, I'll make the plans for next week, should get some rest guys."

They got prepared and rode through a heavily wooded area and made it to the camp site. The guys were setting up and Nick starts the fire for the night. The fire was lit and the amber that led to the full moon and the surrounding trees of the night sky.

Nick said "Well this isn't half bad right, sitting in the camp fire, grilling some steak? It's a full moon too, looks amazing."

Michael replied "Man,can't wait until hunting season, can already tell it's gonna be a good season this year, then we can be eating some deer instead."

Juan said "How can you guys enjoy being in wooded areas like this, what about if we go missing too?" No one would ever find us then because it's so wooded!"

Nick replied in a annoyed voice "Don't worry, it'll be fine, plus, it's only gonna be four nights here."

Michael said to Leo "How come you're not talking much man?"

Leo replied "Oh no, was just thinking about something I saw on the way over here."

Michael said in a interrogated voice "Excuse me?"

Leo told Michael "It was just something that seemed out of place is all, I don't think it was all too much scary as it was just plain weird."

Michael said in a slightly angered voice "Well...spit it out."
