Alex's POV
I smiled over at Mason as we both walked into the fair, hand in hand.
I breathed in the air and looked around. The fair was pretty busy, with the lines reaching the carousel that was almost a mile apart.
I looked over at the bumper cars and my eyes lit up. The line wasn't that long and I really wanted to go!
I tugged Mason's arm in the direction of the bumper cars and he got the memo. He followed after me, chuckling as he observed my childish motives.
I grinned up at him, continuing to pull him after me, excited and desperate to get on those cars and kick Mason's butt.
We waited in line and I kept jumping up and down, grinning so wide that I felt as though my face was gonna fall off.
He laughed at me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into his side and kissing my forehead. I sighed dreamily. His touch was magical, he made me feel like a giddy schoolgirl when her crush talks to her for the first time.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms childishly, glaring at him through my eyelashes. This time he grinned at me.
I narrowed my eyes, looking at him with my green eyes as he looked at me with his blue ones.
I burst out laughing, uncrossing my arms and I cheekily grinned up at him. He did the same.
We both sighed and looked ahead, now realizing we were the only ones left to enter and the guy taking tickets was looking annoyed at us both.
I smiled innocently, shrugging my shoulders. I looked over at the ticket guy and mouthed,
"He's mine. Stop staring at his abs." Then I glared. He quickly nodded and proceeded what he was doing, taking our tickets and letting us in.
I ran inside, completely forgetting about Mason as I sat down in a purple bumper car, strapping on my seat belt and breathing in, gripping the steering wheel as I got ready.
Mason walked in, taking his sweet ol' time and I glared at him, making him smirk at me and walk slower. I growled, my mouth turning into a snarl. He looked over at me and realized I meant business.
He nodded and went over to the black bumper car. Pfft, typical. I rolled my eyes and crouched down, bending my elbows and keeping my eyes focused on him as he got himself into the car.
The bumper cars started and I zoomed right at him, showing no mercy and going full force towards him.
His eyes widened and he tried to drive the opposite way. I chuckled and hit the side of his bumper car and he glared at me. I grinned cheekily.
He growled and hit me this time. I glared back and we just kept chasing one another across the floor, trying to win against each other.
~~Time Skip~~
A little while later, maybe 3 hours; Mason and I were walking to the car after a fun filled night at the fair.
I yawned tiredly, walking to the car and opening the door, climbing in and leaning against the seat.
I closed my eyes and breathed in, listening to the soft sound of the radio.
~~20 minutes later~~
"Alex...Alex...Princess we're here." I heard a whisper.
I opened my eyes, looking tiredly over at Mason, yawning while covering my mouth, letting my hand drop as soon as I stopped yawning.
"W-what?" I whispered tiredly. He chuckled and closed his door, walking over to my side and opening it. Instantly the cold hit my bare legs as the dress lifted up just a bit as he leaned over and grabbed my waist, lifting me up bridal style and closing the door of the car, stuffing the keys in his pocket and walking towards the pack house.
"M-Mason?" I yawned, looking over at him with my eyes half open.
"Yes, princess?"
"I'm tired."
"I know, Princess."
"Can I lay my head on your shoulder?" I whispered, tiredly starting to do that even though he didn't give me permission to do so.
"Of course." He whispered, moving my head so it was on his shoulder.
"I love you, Mason." I mumbled, barely conscious of my words and actions anymore, the idea of sleep clouding my mind like an addiction.
"What was that, princess?" He whispered, surprised of what he probably just heard.
"Princess?" He mumbled, shaking my shoulder.
I tiredly looked up at him. He looked back at me, his eyes lit up with so much hope.
"Yes?" I whispered, snuggling closer to him.
"What did you just say? Can you repeat it? Please?" He sounded desperate, the scent shedding off him powerfully.
"Goodnight, Mason." I mumbled, falling asleep once again.
