No matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to change someone else. You could try anything—lecturing them about how horrible they should feel for being his or herself, taking away their only source of happiness, forcing them to like certain things, converting them into something they're not—like I said, anything. But they'll always be the same, and you'll have wasted your time trying to make someone else's life even more bland and miserable than it already is.
People's lives are as personal and as busy as yours. Don't think you're helping anyone by giving your negative opinion on what they should or shouldn't do. You're only wasting their time. You're only making them feel worse than they already do. Sometimes you should just leave people be, no matter how much their actions or appearance may bother you. Unless they're treating someone else poorly, making offensive jokes, or disobeying the law, I suggest you leave them be.
Let people live, love, and laugh. Let them choose their own lifestyle. Let them be happy.
