Meadowclan Territory

  "MeadowClan!" You reply.
  "Alright," she gives a flick of an ear. "We need to see what those cats are up to, anyways."
  The four of you pad through the dense forest. The thick shrubs and dense trees shield you from the blazing sun. A heathery-fishy scent bathes your tongue as you round a thorn bush. You try to pad forward but Timberfur halts you with her orange tabby tail.
"One more paw step and you would've crossed the border." She mewed sternly, her gazed fixed on the grassy plain.
Suddenly, the smell of cat mixed with fish and heather ran past your nose.
"Not so close!" A stern snarl sounded.
You turned your head to see a dark ginger tom and a grey speckled she cat and their apprentices.
  A black tom apprentice with sparkling blue eyes caught your green eyes. You met eyes and looked away immediately. Timberfur's pelt bristling, but her voice was steady.
  "We haven't crossed!" Firepaw interrupted before any cat could speak.
  Lilyfeather gave him a tail flick to silence him.
  "I'd manage your apprentice better if I were you." The ginger tom growled.
  "I manage him fine, Alderpelt, thank you very much." The white speckled she cat replied evenly.
  "Whatever, just keep your paws over there." Alderpelt hissed before leading his patrol deeper in their territory.
  "And stay out!" A cream she apprentice yowled back before she got an angry hiss by her mentor.
  You caught the black toms eye again as he looked back at you, then turned and padded onward.
  Your heart begins to beat faster. Thoughts race your mind. Did he want to threat you? Why was he starring?
  "Boy, were they feisty!" Firepaw interrupted your thoughts.
  "Huh?...uh, yeah!" You stammer. "Do they sleep in a pile of ants or something?"
  Timberfur snorted. "Seems like it."
  "Come on, let's keep going." Lilyfeather mewed and let the patrol onward.
  As they were walking, Timberfur breaks the silence.
  "The gathering is tonight," her Amber eyes flick from you to Firepaw. "Which one of you wants to come?"
