We walked for a while, just enjoying each-others company her sun shirt was nice, calm if you wish even welcoming. Her once jeans blue were now yellow as well, they had to of changed whilst she was with me however that had the least of my attention. I was too busy watching how she acted.
Timid at first she started up a conversation "So, how come I've never seen you around before Alex?" this was a question that meant a lot to me. So keeping the basics seemed best. "I just moved here" I replied. Good, good basic simple not too in depth and she still got answers. "Oh, okay. I hope you enjoy it here then" and she simply stopped talking. She still seemed happy though. And that's when I got an idea.
"Hey Fiona, do you want to go to my secret spot in this park. I found it whilst I was exploring one day" I questioned, hopefully. "I-I, uh, Sure" stammered the small voice. Before I had even processed what I was doing I grabbed her hand and dragged her along.
It was around 8 minuets until we got there. It was a small cave next to a little waterfall that flowed into a river. And that's when I saw it, a safe colour. The colour you could trust. Green, green I like green. Maybe my favourite so far. But what if there's no more? Guess these would have to do then.
