Broken - Fairy Tail Fan-fiction

Qin's Memories.

"What town?" Qin asks. Everyone began to stare at her. "wh- why are you guys staring at me?" Qin asked.

"We're never going to get this stupid mission completed." Lucy cried out. "calm down Lucy, we will just have to figure out another way to complete this mission," Erza said in a calm voice "but we should try and help Qin here."

"she's right." Grey said. He felt a personal connection to Qin. He knew how she felt, and he would do anything to make sure no one felt the pain he himself had to deal with.

Qin had no idea what they were talking about. "I have a question." she said. "what is it?" Happy said flying over to her. "You ask me about this town as if I know all about it. Why is that?" she asked with a serious look on her face.

Natsu took a step toward Qin "When we found you, you insisted that the towns vanishing was your fault." Natsu said. Qin stared at Natsu "m- my fault?" a tear ran down her face. A few memory's slipped into her mind, killing her father, Living in this town, and the reason behind the killing. He had abused her, all her childhood which she had only faint memories of.

'I can't tell them I remembered killing someone. they might kill me on the spot!' Qin thought. "is everything alright?" Lucy asked. "I just- can't believe I would do something like that." she said.

"Well, we do need to find out what all happened and why it happened, you saying those few words are the only thing we know about this town," Erza said "furthermore we need to continue that mission. Grey I want you to stay here with Qin alright?" Grey simply nodded his head.

"Alright! so were should we go next?" Natsu questioned acting as if he was fired up. "I saw a library on the way back here, maybe we should try there?" Lucy mentioned. "I should have thought of that. Come on lets go!" Erza said walking toward the direction they came from before.

Around twenty minutes later when Natsu, Happy, Lucy and Erza were far gone, Grey and Qin sat sat silently. "Excuse me.. Grey was it?" Grey turned around showing Qin he was listening. "Could you tell me, more about who you guys are? All I know is your from this guild called Fairy Tail." Grey nodded his head.

"We as you know are from the guild Fairy Tail. A guild built on Family and trust. We are on a mission from our master himself. The mission not even we know all the details. All we were told was to find info about this town, and that we need to find a locket shaped like a sword. We don't even exactly know what the locket does or needs." and with that he turned around, staring up into the sky were the sun was setting.

::::: QIN'S POV :::::

A locket? Hmm, I feel like I- I'VE SEEN THAT BEFORE. My father, he left it locket up in the basement. I remember admiring it's beauty, the shinny gold color, and wanting to open it, but getting beat when I even looked at it for more than a few seconds.

"uh- grey?" I said. "yea?" "I know the locket your talking about... it's-" I can't mention my home he may ask me about my dad, and make me tell him about him. "it's where?" Grey turned around to face me stepping closer. I have to tell him.. What if their guild is at stake? "I believe it is in my home. I'm starting to remember a few things and this is one of them. all though I don't remember where my home was."

"wait back up. you remembered you lived here?" grey asked me. "yea, and that's the only other thing I remember" I say. I tried to sound like I was telling the truth but I feel like he caught me.

"I see. When they return i'll tell them about what you said, maybe Lucy will be able to figure out were my house was." I Looked at him in awe, they were so determined to follow there masters wishes. they must care about him a lot. Thinking about my past I really would like something like this, to live not in fear but trust, determination, and hope.
