We stood in the parking lot my tears sliding down my face. How could he say that how...? I wanted to stop crying but the tears kept streaming down my face. Victor was freaking out behind me as I walked away. I felt a hand on my shoulder pull me back I looked at him and he turned me around.

He cupped my face and started to kiss the tears on my face away. I rested my hands on his chest and pushed him away.

"Victor that's not going to work." I said quietly looking away.

Victor looked at me surprised. "You don't get it do you! Do you even understand how much pressure is on me! I turn to you for support and he you are saying that if I don't do well you'll stop being my coach! Do you even...DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW THAT FEELS!" I yelled my voice bouncing off the walls of the parking lot.

I heard more cheers from above and I crumpled to the floor I cried harder. The hot tears sliding down my face. I squeezed my eyes shut but the tears kept falling. I could hear my own choking sobs in the parking lot. I heard tapping on the floor then a hand lift my face up. I looked at Victor and stood up and tried to walk away.

He grabbed my hand and turned me around bringing me closer to him. He held me tightly as I struggled against his embrace. I started to hit his back but his grip around me tightened. I struggled a bit more and I finally stopped thinking my efforts would be futile.

"Yuri...Yuri I I just thought if I said that it would encourage you. I-I'm so sorry I didn't realize that would backfire. And really Yuri I would never do that. I love you too much for that. " Victor said his voice cracking.

I wrapped my hands around his back and sobbed into his shoulder. "Vi-chan please if you leave I don't know what I would do. I don't want to lose you." I managed to choke out between sobs.

He pulled away from me and looked at my face. He wiped the tears off my face with his thumbs and leaned foreword. Our heads rested against each other and our noses touched. He kissed me on the lips it was short and sweet, exactly what I needed. He pulled away from me and smiled.

"Now go do the best skate you can, be the amazing skater you are." Victor said taking my hand and leading me back upstairs to get my skates on.
