Issue #8 Axes and Spears

Smokey: (pap... What! No I won't! Fine. Smokey here, after that sad moment in the hill and beating up the crap out of denzel with sans. We journey to the coldlands but before we have to go through the echo caverns. Hope is a smooth travel and I'm going to kill who ever put that name there)

Our magnificent sans, yomi, denzel, and smokey start entering into the famous echo cavern. Yomi looks in surprise on how fine it looks and not warped up like ashdin

Denzel: places like this are so pure that not even crossovers can damage it.

Yomi: it looks prettier in person

The cavern is cover in ponds that block the way to coldland

Denzel: well looks like me and Smokey have to find a way passed that. You two stay here and call me if something happen.

As Yomi admires the view, magnificent sans runs to a blue flower whispering something to it. Yomi goes to magnificent sans to see what he's up to.

Yomi: is that a real echo flower?

Magnificent sans: yes, do you want to hear it

Yomi slowly puts her ear near the echo flower to listen

Echo flower: Sans hotdogs are the best

Yomi's face came to a realization on what she just heard

Magnificent sans: mwuehehehe!

Magnificent sans' laughter caused the echo flowers to echo his laugh.

Yomi: why me

Denzel: hey guys we found a way to cross over to the other side

The two walk towards Smokey and Denzel while Yomi kicks one of the echo flowers. Yomi and sans see a bridge made of flowers going through the big pond.

Denzel: I'll go first to see if it's safe

Yomi: why can't we swim to the other side?

Smokey: because legends say that a creature lives in this ponds and would eat whatever touches the water

Yomi: and why are this plants fine?

Smokey: he hates vegetables

Yomi: oh

Denzel walks on the bridge all the way to other side with ease

Denzel: Ok Yomi your turn

Yomi: ok

Yomi slowly and carefully walks on the bridge until in the middle of the flower bridge she sees her reflection on the water. She notice a big shadow pass by her reflection scaring her and dipping her foot in the water

Denzel: YOMI!!!

A creature burst out under yomi, launching her in the air near denzel. Denzel quickly jumps towards Yomi using his body to cushioning her fall. The two stand up to see the creature looking at them but then it gets hit by a stack of bones from the magnificent sans and Smokey

Smokey: run now while it's distracted!

Denzel: but we can fight it...!

Smokey: shut up you idiot we can't waist time so get out of here now! We'll find a way to find you guys again so go!

Yomi grabs Denzel's arm and they run toward the exit. They stop near a deep ravine with a normal bridge crossing it. Denzel drops to his knees, regretting leaving Smokey and magnificent sans to fight the creature alone but gets interrupted from a slap to his face by Yomi

Yomi: look I know your still sad from pap's death and don't want anymore dead friends but you got to trust them, we will be together again and if they die don't let their death become nothing but sorrow and anger in you.

Denzel stays motionless with a surprised look on his face

Yomi: now will you stay there depressed from the past or we go to finish the mission

Denzel stands up with a serious look on his face and determination flaring in his eyes

Denzel: lets finish the mission

Yomi and Denzel walk on the bridge to the other side as two shadows appear seeing them as their prey

Yomi: are you sure you're okay?

Denzel: yeah I am thanks to you

Yomi: your really emotional you know that

Denzel: another consequence of my powers

Yomi: you have weird powers

Suddenly a spear lands in front of them, nearly hitting Yomi. Yomi and Denzel look up to see to a blue fish and a yellow dinasour.

Yomi: is that undying and...alphys?

Alphys: so the filthy humans knows who we are

Undying: good then you will know why we are here.

Denzel: yea...no. I made a promise to hurry up with my mission and...

Undying: so the monster slaughter of snowy ashdin was just a "mission" a "job"?

Yomi: wait what!? No!

Alphys: so your also liar. I CAN'T STAND LIERS

Alphys throws her light blue axe at Denzel and Yomi. Denzel pushes Yomi out of the way, getting cut deeply in the arm

Yomi: let's get out of here!

Denzel: to the grass!

As they're are running to the grass, a bottle on fire gets flong to the grass bursting into fire

Undying: you two aren't going anywhere so prepare to experience a battle of a true hero

The battlefield intensify as denzel and Yomi know that there is no other option then to fight. Alphys rushes at yomi first, getting tackled by Denzel but then gets stabbed through his shoulders and feet, pinning him into the floor by undying's spears.

Undying: your battle is with me

Undying walks up to Denzel and pushes her spear deeper to his shoulder

Yomi: leave him alone!

Undying looks to her side before she's blasted to a wall. Alphys appears behind Yomi, grabbing her from her head and tosses her near the bridge

Alphys: I'm not done with you yet

Denzel: yomi!!

Alphys walks toward Yomi with her axe in her hand. Yomi stands up hurt from the throw and sees the bridge behind her

Alphys: run like the filth you are and I'll cut the ropes, letting you drop to the pit below to die slowly or stay and die quicker.

Denzel: don't do it alph....

Denzel's mouth was shut by undying's boot

Undying: quiet human. After we take her soul, yours will be next

Yomi stays in place, trembling to the fact that this is her end

Alphys: others would choose the bridge but you'll die either way

Alphys raises her axe to the sky.  Yomi closes her eyes as the axe drops down on her

???: such young girl in such a harsh situation

Yomi opens her eyes to see she is in a dark void with a weird looking person in front of her

Yomi: who are you?

???: my name is Taimumasutā but people call me Mr. M
