A/N that's the dress I described above.
I lay in the bed waiting for morning. Sleep wouldn't come, partly because of the pain in my ribs and partly because of the gorgeous specimen sleeping next to me.
He rolls over and slings his arm over me.
"Don't leave.." He whispers. For a second I'm afraid he's awake but his light snoring returns in just a moment.
I roll so I'm facing him, his arm tightens around me and I sigh in content. I look at his face, he looks so sweet and vulnerable when he's asleep. His lips are slightly parted, eyelashes brushing his cheeks. Why do guys always get the pretty natural lashes anyways? It's takes me a half hour to get mine to look half as good. Shaking my head I look at his hair, that's normally styled perfectly, is in complete disarray. I giggle at the condition of his hair and his snoring stops.
I slap a hand over my youth and wait for his snoring to return again. I place my hand lightly on the side of his face, when he doesn't shift I push it into his hair and lean closer. I place a light kiss on his lips and curl closer to his chest.
I sigh again. As much as I really need the sleep I can't seem to drift off.
I climb out of bed and head towards the kitchen. I grab the apple juice from the fridge and a glass from the cupboard I'm just starting to poor the juice when I sharp pain hits me in the side if the head. I drop the juice and glass which shatters on the ground. I fall backwards and see a man with a black mask above me wielding a frying pan. He chuckles as the world goes black.

Vincent's POV.
I roll over and immediately notice that Cali's not beside me. I walk to the bathroom and knock.
No answer.
I go to the living room where she's nowhere to be seen.
"Cali?" I call out hopping she didn't leave already. I glance at the clock on the wall it's only six o'clock where Is she?
I open the kitchen door and my heart sinks. An empty Apple juice jug lays on the floor next to a shattered glass and puddle. On the counter is a green piece of paper. I lunge at the paper and feel the anger rise in me as I read the words.
Vincent,
Have you missed me? What am I saying? Of course you have. How's it going? How's the family? Oh that's right. They're dead. Oh well. Anywho, I was wondering if you wanted to talk. But we all know you just want her back. Oh that reminds me. I have your little girlfriend. You have three days to find us or I kill her. Time starts at seven A.M. you have until seven Wednesday morning.
Good luck,
Chris.I yell in frustration and punch the wall next to me. I fold the note and shove it in my pocket. It's six twenty now. Time to get to work. I call the one person I've never called in anticipation to ask something I've never asked.
"Hello?" The deep voice comes through the phone. I can tell I woke him up but oh well.
"Mr. Lombardi, we need to meet."
"What's this about? You've always been very against us meeting in person. Is something wrong?"
"Yes," I take a deep, calming breath. "It's about California. She's been abducted by the leader of the Black Sharks."
I hear a growl and a thud, I assume he just punched something. "Why? She's never been associated with the Crows."
"Well sir that's a funny story. We started dating and me and the B.S. leader have been feuding and he was trying to herbal me...."
I hear silence waiting for him to reply. "You. Endangered. My daughter? Because of a feud with a rival gang member?"
"Um... Yes si-"
"YOU WILL FIND HER!" He bellows through the phone interrupting me. I take a deep breath.
"I will sir, but I need your help." I say trying to keep the anger from my voice. I hate asking for help but I can tell he isn't going to give in easily."
"......When?" His voice is strained.
"Can I meet you and three of your best men at your house in," I glance at my watch. "twenty minutes?"
"Be here." He says cutting the call.
I quickly get dressed and run out the door. I'll find her even if it kills me.
