"Are you going to jump?"

She looked up from the mesmerizing waves beneath her, only to be mesmerized by a sea of another kind, the dark blue in a handsome boy my age's eyes.

"Huh?"

"Are going to jump, 'cause you're on the wrong side of the fence." He asked cautiously while leaning over the fence that was 'supposed' to stop people from going to the edge, but the girl swore a toddler could climb it, it's possibly only a meter tall with wire criss crossing between the metal posts.

'Was she here to jump?' She thought.

She wasn't really sure why she was here, maybe it was to jump. But she wasn't planning on jumping yet, she still needed to tie some loose ends.

"No I'm not going to jump." She said calmly and he let out a sigh of relief,

"No. Not yet." She continued.

"Wait, yet?" He questioned.

"Yet." She confirmed.

They just stared at each other for a while her sitting on the edge of the cliff with legs dangling over the edge. Him leaning against the wire fence in a relaxed position but his tensed muscles showing a different story.

The air felt tense and awkward he hasn't said anything yet. She thought she had probably scared him by telling him she was going to commit suicide in the future.

Great I scared a person who barely knows me. How do I have friends again? She asked herself.

Oh yeah, I don't. She deadpanned to her conscience.

She jumped up from the edge, causing him to flinch slightly as if he expected her to jump. She snorted loudly and leant against a section of the fence next to him, with a mischievous smirk.

"So why are you here? Are you gonna jump?" She said  tauntingly.

He laughed awkwardly, "No um, I just moved to to the town so I thought I would go for a walk and ended up here."

"Well then, welcome to the neighborhood." She drawled sarcastically, with a blank face. She then spares a fleeting glance towards the roaring ocean and easily jumped over the fence.

He smiled sweetly at her, "So then stranger what's your name?"

She smirked slyly in response, then retorted with , "Don't have one."

"Do I look like I was born yesterday? I m-"

"Yes," She interrupted calmly, "You do look like you were born yesterday and I don't have time for little babies." Causing his face to morph into a mixture of rage and irritation.

Yep, I think I definitely just angered the wild beast. She said to herself.

"Well, I'm sorry if me asking for your name was oh so rude but is it really that hard to try and give a shít?!" He ranted frustrated.

She just raised one eyebrow at his rant, "You done there?"

He took a deep breath, trying to calm down, "Look I'm just trying to get a fresh start here, in a new area with new people, but so far everyone's been little Fückers." He grits obviously attempting not to raise his voice.

She started to laugh dryly, "I'm  going to guess from the fact you said fresh start that you were a naughty little boy and has move to "try again" at life. Well then, don't talk to me 'cause I'm a trouble." She spat out the last word in disgust.

"I don't care if you're trouble. I just want to know your name." He sighed, "Look it's not that hard. Hi, I'm Hunter." He said with a sarcastic wave and an overly fake cheery voice.

She didn't reply just, glared at him. His pale face is sharp and angular, showing his dark blue-grey eyes. He has spiky black hair that looks like it's been constantly ruffled by his hand. He's wearing a tight black t-shirt and some casual dark blue jeans, that show off his strong and well built body.

Mmm he is sexy.

Oh well to bad he can't mix with my kind. She thought

"Look Hunter," She said in a sickly sweet voice, "You're going to Rosetta High, right?" He nodded cautiously, "Well then, you'll know my name by tomorrow."

"Why is that?"

My gosh!? Does this guy always ask so many questions? Like seriously, I've only known him for a few minutes and I've already got a Fücking headache. She complained to herself.

"Be patient young Hunter, all will be revealed, tomorrow." She drawled out in an overly sweet voice, making sure to put an emphasis on the word 'tomorrow'.

He just Fücking rolled his eyes at her.

"Okay, this conversation is giving me a headache, so bye bye Hunter." She said nonchalantly, then walked calmly down the hill away from the cliff and the sexy stranger.

She walked into her small apartment, making sure to lock the door behind her. After quickly making herself some spaghetti bolengaise and guzzling it down in almost one gulp, she turned the TV on to some pointless and over rated cräppy show. As she watched the moving images on the screen, her mind wandered to Hunter,

That was his name wasn't it?

He definitely said his name was Humter.

Oh good.

Wait, why the heck would I care about his name I'm probably never going to see him again.

You never know... He might.

I hope he doesn't.

You know you're lying.

No I'm not.

Riiiiiiight.

She argued with herself, probably sounding like a lunatic.

She decided to stop have a conversation with her conscience and go to bed. She speedily got changed into Pajamas, brushed her teeth and then snuggled in the blankets, slowly she drifted off to sleep.

Somewhere deep inside her, she knew that she did want Hunter to talk to her the next day. Not because she cared about him, heck she just met him. Instead she wanted him to talk to her, so he could help get rid of the horrid feeling inside her.

But that somewhere else deep inside her, she also believed that even if she wanted him to talk to her, he probably wouldn't.
