I'm a pretty decent photographer. my friends used to tell me all the time. I can't tell you how many contests I've won, or how many times I've been in the local newspaper. I'm sure the most frequently printed name in the thing is my own "James Bentley."

Guess I would've been better off if I hadn't spent so much time playing with cameras.

See, there's this sort of ravine a short ways out of town that's known to have a lot of small woodland critters, and I was dead-set on capturing one of them. I don't know why it didn't occur to me that there would be some predators as well. Anyways, I drove to the ravine, made my way down towards the bottom, and spotted a perfect, tiny chipmunk on a log. Photographing a wild animal is hard work, so I kind of zone out whenever i'm doing it. Or when I'm taking any photo, really. I had just managed to get my camera into focus when the chipmunk scampered off. I just barely had time to sit back in frustration when I experienced the most terrifying moment of my life.

It was a full moon. I had planned that on purpose, to get the best lighting for my shoot. In my defense, how on earth would I have anticipated a werewolf? They went extinct hundreds of years ago! Well, apparently a few survived the days of genocide.

It's been three nights since then. I'm cold, I'm scared, my body is covered in hair, and I just don't know what to do.
