This is my first story for this site hope you like it! :D
This story is based on 2 of my friends, if either of you were to read this story pls dun take it personally this is just for fun and is not meant to be offensive. :)
Some people(my friends) should know who i'm talking about, just to tell you i'm changing their names.
Enough chit-chat on with the story!! :D
The sun baked the ground with a vengeance, there wasn't a cloud in the sky it was another blistering hot day in sunny Singapore. clusters of students walked into 'South Star Secondary School' for the morning assembly.
Victoria's POV
I had just entered the 8th grade, and it was already 1 month into the school year. The first month was dreadful, there were tons of homework, teachers nagging us every single day and worst of all the countless tests day after day. But on the bright side I ot to be in the same class as my 3 bestfriends, and even Jake
(a small blush crept across Victoria's face)
'Wait! Did I just think about Jake!! Snapped out of it Victoria Jake is just your friends nothing more!' I mentally scolded myself.
"R-Ringgg!!!!" the mind blowingly loud bell snapped me out of my trance and I realise I was late for morning assembly. I quickened my pace and just managed to make it to my class as prefects began to catch late-comers. I heaved a sigh of relief as I took a seat next to one of my bestfriends Anise.
No one's POV
"May I see the following students; Patrick Seah, Fiona Lewis, ...Jone Robinson, please come to the front now, the rest of you can leave, the first class on my right please stand." Mr Johnson said from the podium. As the 'selected' student made their way to Mr Johnson, Class by class students left the assembly area and walked back to their classes.
Victoria's POV
As I was walking back to class with my friend Anise, behind the two of us was none-other than Jake himself, when I turned around, all I could do was stare into his dark-brown eyes and I was at a lost for words. He gave me a smile and said 'hi'. When I didn't reply he started staring at me like some weirdo trying to get my attention.
While I was in a daydream I accidentally tripped on something and landed face first onto his chest. At that point I snapped out of my daydream, and realise what position I was in. I quickly got up steadied myself and hurriedly walk back to class.
On the way, my face was burning up. I was looking down the whole time not letting anyone see me like this.My heart was beating rapidly and my face was beat red.
"Whats happening to me?! Why is my heart beating so fast? Could it be..? No! Victoria Jake is just your friend nothing more..Isn't he..?" I thought to myself as I finally reached my class and took a seat next to Gordan.
As my classmates slowly took their seats one by one, Mr Smith came in for first period(Geography).Throughout the lesson I couldn't stop thinking about Jake. Everytime I thought of him I would give myself a mental scolding, telling myself he is just a friend but always I would have second thoughts. This continued all the way until recess.
When the bell rang students left the class almost immediately desperate to leave the dreaded classroom. I slowly packed my books into my pink and white backpack when all 3 of my bestfriends,Anise,Rei and Ralph. They greeted me hello and waited till I was done like our usual routine to go for recess together. Like us Jake was also going for recess with his own group of friends, as he walked past laughing with his friends I couldn't help but stare, I stopped everything I was doing.
"Hello? Earth to Victoria, anyone there?..Hello?...VICTORIA!!" Rei exclaimed snapping me out of yet another daydream.
I snapped out of my daydream only to find three of my friends staring at me with looks of concern on their faces.
"Hey, Victoria you okay? You seem a little unfocused today." asked Rei
"A-a Yeah i'm fine..." I replied weakly while another blush appeared on my face.
"Is that so? I think that she likes someone just look at that blush on her face!" Ralph said in a cheeky voice.
I immediately jumped realising that I had been found out, even with my blush getting deeper I tried to keep calm.
"No, I don't like Jake! Why would you even suggest that!!!" I said in a panic trying not to let myself be discovered.
"We didn't even mention Jake...OHHHH!!!!!" The three of them said in unison.
"Crap..." I thought to myself
"Come'on lets just go for recess look everyones' already left!" I said trying to change the subject.
"Fine" they said
During recess, we reached the canteen only to find Jake yet again.Jake waved and gave us a friendly hello, and the three of my friends replied in unison. My face got red again just at the sight of him. Jake noticing my red face asked if I was okay.
Yet again I was speechless especially with him this close to me, all I could said was "I-I...a..pshh.." I just pushed him out of the way and ran.I ran back to class and took a seat trying to calm myself down.
Jake's POV
"What was that about?" I asked
"We don't know she's not usually like this." Anise replied
"Yeah well i'm going to eat now b-" before I could finish I realise I hadn't bring my wallet for recess."Shit! I forgot my wallet in class, well bye guys I'm gonna go get it now."
"Yeah well bye, we're going to look for Victoria, she seems to be acting weird all day." said Ralph
"Yeah, I know whats up with her?" Said Jake
Soon all of us parted the three of them searching the school for Victoria, while I headed back to class.While walking I noticed that there was someone in class as I approched the classroom I realise it was Victoria. When I entered the classroom Victoria just turned around saw me and got up trying to leave the class. But I stopped her.
Victoria's POV
I was seating in class trying to calm myself down when Jake suddenly walked in. I was shocked I couldn't think straight all I could do was get up and leave but as I began to walk away Jake grabbed my arm and started questioning me.
In the midst of all the question about why I was acting strange and avoiding him, I suddenly blurted out " I LIKE YOU!!"
I could tell he was stuned."S-sorry what I meant was..a.." before I could finish I felt something press against my lips it was Jake. He had just kissed me!!! I was in total shock and I think my brain shut down during that kiss. halfway through the kiss I could hear my friends yelling "Victoria!!"
And Jake broke the kiss my face was turning red for the umpteen time today.
When my friends walked into the class all I could do was scream "YOU GUYS!!!!" in a frustrated matter. Jake just chuckled and I smiled back, we were both lost in each others eyes.
"Hold up did we miss something?!?" Rei exclaimed in disbelief
