" You were the shadow to my light,
Did you feel us?
Another star.
You fade away.
Afraid our aim is out of sight,
Wanna see us,
Alight,
Where are you now?
Was it all in my fantasy?
Were you only imaginary?
Under the bright but faded lights,
You've set my heart on fire,
The monster's running wild inside of me,
I'm faded,
I'm faded,
So lost, I'm faded,
I'm faded,
So lost, I'm faded ".

" I see you ", My beloved's fingers left bloody traces on my skin as they softly grazed over my face, tears streaming down my cheeks and splashing against the blood soaked material of his shirt. With a last look at me Thomas eyes glazed over and his pupils dilated until they were nothing but a couple of lifeless orbs, sobs racking my chest I placed two hand fingers over his eyelids and closed them, that way he could looked like he was sleeping.

" Come on Ellie, don't do this, don't cry, specially not over someone like him, you are a Disciple and a Hunter, you have dealt with this kind of thing before, you know how to compartmentalize your feelings, don't cry, please Ellie don't cry ", I lost the internal struggle I was having as tears started falling down my face in copious amounts and I completely broke down, sobbing I laid my head on Thomas lifeless body shoulder. My tear glistened eyes wandered down to his chest where his heart used to beat and saw the hilt of the now protruding trough his back katana blade, the same blade I pierced Thomas with as in his last struggling moments he himself had tried to impale his own body with. With the last devastated remains of strength I had in my body I grasped the hilt of the katana and in a fluid movement I pulled it out of his stomach, making even more blood gush out of the wound and pooled underneath his body.

I gently accommodated Thomas body in a lying position as I rested his head over my crossed legs and just continued to hold him, every memory rushed at me in the same tidal wave, I brushed some blood from his face as I gave his lips a tender kiss,

" You broke your promise Tommy, you left me alone ", I whispered to his corpse before I closed my eyes and just drifted off for a moment, the now destroyed warehouse was completely abandoned, void of any movement or life, it was empty, empty just like Thomas was now.

In his last desperate attempt Thomas had helped me take his life, he wanted to die as himself and not as someone or something else, my eyes brimmed with even more tears as I continued to sob slightly against his corpse.

( A few moments back )

" Don't you remember me, don't you remember your Ellie, Thomas I know that somewhere inside you the same boy I fell in love with ever since the day you passed me by my locker when we were on Beacon Hills High School, I know that you are still you ", Void Thomas stood over me, one of his feet painfully pressing against my ribcage.
