INSIPIRATION – when you love someone
CONNECTION – hiya, everyone. thank you so much for clicking on my part and reading this. this is actually an insight/prologue for one of my up and coming books which i'm really excited about. I don't want to give away too much but I will say this; it will be a dystopian novel where love is forbidden. It will be set in the future and will consist of an entirely new world as it completely differs from my other stories. also, a little note, don't take the song that i used for inspiration to write this so literally because the story will differ from the song.

SHE WILL NEVER FORGET the moment she realized she loved him.
It was dark, the low level of lights sifting through the room, her hands edging towards the narrow gaps between her mattress and her duvet, a fiery red glow emanated from the distance. The sun was beginning to ascend from the horizon, with its warm glow setting the surrounding scenery alive with its colours of amber, ruby and gold. She didn't know how long she was staring for, eyes fixated on the splendour as she was enchanted by the beauty of the fireball, losing all sense of time.
Eventually, her head shifted to the side, eyes fluttering open and shut every second or two until she resolved to keep them open and exposed her eyes a mere fraction but it was enough to see the breath-taking man in front of her.
The man was perfection in coffee tones; his hair was the colour of dark roasted beans, the colour of a lovely whisky, and the colour of fallen leaves browned and sleek with the first rain of autumn. His dark hair with a hint of whiskey swept in a tumble of mess across the white pillow, unruly with a couple of loose strands softly resting on his forehead. She remembered his eyes being a light shade of blue swirled together to form a whirlpool of apprehension, iridescent and flecked with every shade of blue but unfortunately they were closed, hidden from her sight. His skin was the colour of gold, a mixture of caramel of her favourite chocolate and amber, the hue the commonly surrounds the sun, radiating off its warmth to us mere humans.
Her heart thumped hard – so, so hard against her body as her eyes dancing over his face, and she reminded herself to breathe.
Her gaze dropped lower, taking in his strong arched brows and eyelashes so thick, it could be illegal which were softly swiping against the clear skin underneath. He had distinct cheekbones, and her wandering eyes counted the touch of light brown freckles perfectly designed his god-crafted cheeks, his full, smooth lips were slightly parted and his chest heaved up and down as he slowly breathed in and out.
His cheeks were a slight tint of pink; the faded shade of rosy blush on a shy schoolgirl's appled cheeks, travelling all the way to the tip of his curved ears and she sighed with pleasure. His chiselled and angular jaw against his tan skin made him look even more so devilishly handsome if it's possible at all.
The hint of a scar carved from his upper lip and ended just above his nose on the right side of his face – it was so, so faint from where she was sitting but she could always mentally trace the exact line from start to end but never did he tell her the story behind the scar. Never. He felt as though she didn't have the right to know so.
He looked angelic, almost as if God has gifted her a personal angel but too bad he disagreed with his fate.
There's no fire without a spark.
He ignited her heart and now there was no stopping the fire he started. She loved him with all she had and some more.
Too bad she was playing with fire and was damned to get burnt. There was no other way. He was her sunshine, the only thing she wanted to reach up and grab, quickly trapping it in the back pocket of her jeans. She wanted him with her. Always.
