In the first day of school Dan was walking with his brothers going to there new school.

"Ok Dan,David I now that you are going to join the basketball team but please don't fight with the older members like in middle school ok?"Jen said to Dan and David

They remember how they almost got expelled when they were picking a fight with the others members.

"Eh?they alway started first we were just defending us, right Dan?"Dan nod

"Right they deserved it anyway"Jen was getting mad before he could he snap Chris decided to talk.

"Dan David please promise me you won't fight anyone?"both of them could say no to Chris so they agreed.

"Ah Chris don't worry about them right Joe?"

"Right both of them are idiots so don't worry Chris"

"Hey who are you calling a idiot!?"both Dan and David scream before the four could start a fight Jen hit there head and they kept quite for the rest of the way.

~With ocean and her sister~

Ocean was in the car with her sister Gabby she taking her to school before she could get of the car Gabby grab her arm.

"Tell me or Ellen if they start to bully you again ok?"she said to her younger sister worry

"Don't worry Gabby they don't bully me anymore so don't worry so much you'll turn old" ocean lie trying to calm her sister down.

She gave Gabby a smile trying not to worry her so much or be a burden Gabby fell for it and nod leaving ocean to her school ocean wave to her and enter when she was about to go look for her class two girls smirking came to her.

"Why hello there freak"one of them started to talk to her

"Ah look Lorena you scare the poor freak"the second girl told "Lorena"

"Michaela dear freaks don't have feelings"the girls stared to say nasty thing to her ocean try to ignore them but that just got them even more angry Lorena grab ocean hair and pull it

"look here you little freak your sister's are not here to defend you anymore so beg for merci and we might stop"but ocean just keep quite which got them even more mad.

Dan and the others were walking to entrance when Dan spot ocean geting beating by two others girl.

"Hey I'll meet you guys later David meet me infrot of the gym for basketball try-outs"with out them saying anything Dan ran the others were left confuse but shrug it off knowing that he will be fine.

"There is know one here that will keep you safe! you freak!"

"Some one please help me"before lorena could slap her Dan grab her wrist stopping her all three of them turn around and they face Dan.

"What do you think you're doing to her?"Dan voice was cold like the first time he spoke to her

"H-hey l-let her go"Michaela sturred at Dan he glare at her making her shut up and turn to face Lorena.

"Leave if I ever see you two hurting her I don't care if the whole school think I'm a jerk I will beat you two up got it?"both of them nod Dan let go of her wrist and both of them ran away Dan wait for a bit before turing around to face ocean.

"Hey are you alright"ocean could only nod at him

"So who were they?"ocean keep quite before speaking

"there name are Lorena Perez and Michaela Alvarez there captain and co-captain of the cheerleading team there always bothering me"

"you're pathetic"Dan say Ocean look up at him shock before she could try to say something Dan continue.

"I bet they never bullied you like that before especially if your sister's were here look I'm short but I still play basketball I don't care what the others say I open my mouth when I have to say something that one of the main reason people don't bother me I'm a freshman so I won't be able to help you all the time so stand up for yourself"ocean was about to thank him but the ball rang.

"Crap!I'm going to be late look I have to go see ya!"Dan ran towers his class while ocean stay behind looking at him even if he disappeared with the others body.

"Ok class welcome to honers math I'm Mrs.Garcia I ho-"before she could finish Dan open her door causing everyone to look at him.

"Ah a tardy student what your name?"

"Ah I'm sorry I got lost I'm Dan Arteaga"

"Ok since your a freshman I'll let it pass this time"Dan nod and whent to go find his seat he spot Chris who wave at him there was a empty spot next to him.

"Why are you late Dan?"Chris ask

"Ah I saw a girl getting bullied so I help her"

"Oh then tell Jen this he got mad because he left the twins in there class you know how they are and Jen he pass our class and didn't saw you"Dan got a chill knowing how Jen is he just nod understanding and pay attending to the teacher his next class was history which bad luck was with Jen he try explain but he still got punch in his head in his next class is gym which he and David got the same class they started to argue who was better at basketball then the bell ring go break both of them whent to find the others.

"So my last two class I have with none of you?"Dan ask checking there schedule

"Yeah you have photo with the twins you three better be on your best behavior and the last two your alone"Dan nod

"Hey lover boy where your Juliet"

"Ah John Rome here probely bored Juliet and she left him"

"Shut up!she has early flight so she come to school early"before any of them could argue the bell rang the twins and Dan whant to photo when they got there they immediately set up a prank for the teachers when school was over he whent to bio his next class when he enter he look around looking for a seat but he notice there nobody he knows but then he spotted ocean sitting alone he decided to sit with her.

"Yo can I sit here?"ocean jump since he startle her Dan put his arm up

"Hey sorry ocean if I startled you"

"A-ah i-it's ok"

"So... can I sit here?"ocean only nod Dan took a seat

"So ocean why where those girls bullying you?"before she could respond Michaela and loarena came in Michael spot ocean and in a loud voice she said

"Loarena besti look the freak is here"

"Huh?oh!yeah look the freak is here everyone stay away or she will turn you into a freak"everybody started to laugh ocean just put here head down from embarrassment.

"Haahahahah!!!"Dan laugh so loud causing everybody to look at him.

"Look ocean!I never knew clowns were allow here at school and there two of them!!Hey clown duo next time don't wear so much paint your normal face will be enough to make anyone laugh!!!"Lorena and Michael look shock there about to say something but the whole class started to laugh at them in embarrassment they just sat down wating for the teacher not believe a freshman told them off.

"Don't worry ocean as long I'm here there not going to bother you"Dan smile patting her head.

"Thank you"ocean said in a whisper but Dan heard her and smile at her.

Ocean thought Dan might be interested on her but he was actually trying to protect her because she remind him of her little sister.
