I want to go to Neverland
Where people don't care,
About their clothes, face, or hair.
Where I can fly with Peter pan
And never have to land.
To be able to play in the golden sand,
To never grow old,
Or do what you're told.
Where I can battle Captain Hook,
Instead of learning how to cook.
Where I can play with the lost boys,
playfight with wooden swords, and be filled with joy.
Where I can argue with Tinkerbell,
Instead of being expected to fail.
Most of all I want to go to Neverland to be free,
away from those who criticize me.
So Peter pan I'm ready to runaway,
Any day.[April 16, 2017]
