Captured (Ending 1)

I run as fast as I can, the leaves and sticks cracking and crunching behind me. I take this moment to look around, because these might be my last moments. The thumping footsteps of the monster behind me are getting louder and louder. I stop running and give up, know I'll be caught anyway. Then I black out.

I wake up in a white room, with an intense pain in my mouth. I try to talk, but I can't make a sound.

A man walks in, wearing a red suit and slick black hair. "You will remain nameless." He says. "You will follow every order, make every room, and prepare every meal." He leaves, and I put on the white uniform that lay beside me.

Then, realization hit me like a truck.

My tongue had been cut out. I'm an Avox.
