Chapter 1

3 months later

The St Judes hospital hallways were always busy with nurses and doctors rushing to and forth with medical emergencies. It wasn't Lukes favourite place to be, but it has been almost as good as home these past few months since his best friend Sarah had got into a coma. Sleepless nights at the hospital and coffee kept him going till he couldn't keep up any longer and went home for some rest. He wasn't going to give up on Sarah, she needed him and he needed her, she didn't have anyone else but him and he was determined to be there when she woke. He was feeling rather good today and had a feeling something good was going to happen today. As he made his way to Sarahs ward, he passed the familiar faces of the nurses on duty. Hope washed over him as he made his way to where Sarah lay, so peaceful and calm, she looked like an angel. "Hi Sarah, how are you doing today? The doctors said there is no change, but im not giving up on you okay, we will get through this, even if it takes a lifetime." He wipes a single tear that has slid down his cheek and feels saddened that he cant do anything to help her. He sits down beside her and takes her hand in his and starts praying for a miracle to happen. Then he feels Sarahs fingers close on his startling him. "Sarah, Sarah can you hear me? Please wake up!" Sarah slowly opens her eyes and looks around the room, "Where am I?"

"Youre in a hospital, you've been in a coma for 3 months, the doctors thought you would never wake up but I didn't give up, I knew you would wake soon, im so glad its happened, ive been so worried."

Sarah looks at him with an exasperated look, "I need to find Adam before its too late, he needs me, who are you?"
