WASTED TIME
Tick tock on the clock, without a care of the time
Watching it go by, one by one, and the clock finally strikes nine
You get up and get ready for the night you waited for
Little did you know this was my favorite night as well.
I watch you as you go, rushing off in a hurry
Like a little mouse being chased by a cat, the mouse to scurry
You don't notice me, you never did, you never will
I sit on the side lines, admiring your strength and will
You have so much power that you can not even handle
But instead of using it you'd rather sit there and dwindle
Rushing outside in the cold and wind
You don't even know that your time is running thin
Keep on running, don't ever stop.
But of course, you can't hear me, so you stop.
I tried to warn you as much as I could, about the demons that are trying to find you
Well you don't pay a mind, to the occurrences around you
Tick tock tick tock, this is my favorite time, too.
