I used blu-tac to clean the classroom white boards because it kept them clean. I had this one piece that I'd used for most of the year and it was so full of white board pen, that it had turned black and it was really mouldable from using it so much. I had tried to turn it dark purple using the correction pens because they were purple, but it didn't work and it stayed black. While I was trying to turn it purple, the teacher saw I was distracted and took the blu-tac away. The teacher put my blu-tac on her desk.
The next day, I removed the blu-tac from her desk and the area underneath had turned bright pink! I was scared that I'd get in trouble, but the teacher was intrigued more than angry and she asked me to do another test and see if it was the blu-tac or if it was there already. I placed the blu-tac back on the desk and waited an hour, and sure enough, it was the blu-tac which dyed it. Luckily, I didn't get in trouble because it was an accident. I still have that blu-tac from that day.
