The sticky man

On day I was in the school hall when I saw this yellow thing out of the corner of my eye. I ignored it at first, but curiosity got the better of me and I looked up at it and I saw this yellow sticky man just hanging there by its head and its left arm. After I left the hall, I told my friends that there was a sticky man on the hall ceiling and they said that they saw it too and that we should find out who put it there.

At first we ask around to find out how many people had seen it and we count a few. Then, this bratty kid from our class says they put it there, even though we all know she's the biggest liar in our class. We eventually find out who put it on the hall ceiling. It was a boy in our class who had been in a contest to see who's sticky man would stay on the ceiling the longest. He won, of course.

It's been a year since it got stuck, and it's still up there, and it'll probably be up there for a few years more.
