 (Mark's POV)

Blood dripped down my face. Open cuts along my chest threatened to scar. It seemed as if I had been stuck here forever in this hellhole. Anti's visits have become more frequent these past days, or was it weeks? To be honest I have no clue.

I jerked my head toward the creaking of the door praying that it wasn't him. My prayers had been answered, sorta.

"Dark, what the fuck are you here for you bastard." I snarled at my alternates blank expression.

" I can't say that I'm sorry seeing as I really can't feel any emotion but I do wish Anti would stop this."

"Why do you care now? Did you care when I was screaming for help? Or maybe when I was crying only to pass out from the pain? Yeah you really do care." Dark's face got hard and his eyes glowed red.

"Listen here you. The only reason Anti's not killing you is because of me. But now I don't care what happens to you. Go fuck yourself!" He smiled evily before leaving the room calling Anti's name. That bastard, who can I really trust now?

" You can trust me." I whirled my head to the left where a legit purple man stood in the shadows.

"Who are you?" I continued to stare at the man. He glanced up showing lilac colored eyes and brown hair with purple at the tips.

"I go by many names. AntiMatter, Purple Guy, Phone Guy, but you can call me Purple Pat. I'm Matt's alternate and I can give you some very vital information." He seemed to taunt me as he circled around the chair.

" Which is what?"

"Oh just that your boyfriend is coming to save you." He replied plopping himself on a desk and swinging his legs like a child would.

"WHAT!" I exclaimed in bewilderment.

" Shh.. Keep your voice down, the only reason I'm telling you this is because Dark and Anti hate my guts, well what's left of them anyway." He chuckled showing me his heavily scarred chest briefly.

"When is he coming?" He was about to respond when the sound of footsteps echoed outside the door.

"I have to go, Bye!" With that Purple Pat disappeared.

"Who were you talking to?" Anti voice rang out from the doorframe. He closed the metal and glass door behind him

"Nobody." I lied.

"Tsk Tsk, Mark you know not to lie to me." He revealed the all to familiar blade from his coat. Suddenly the sound of broken glass was heard and what seemed to be shouting downstairs. I turned back to see Anti with a bullet through his chest. Black blood gushed out of the wound. Right before he hit the floor he vanished into a black cloud.

"He'll be back, best if we leave now or never." I look toward the all to familiar voice I had grown to love.

"JACK!" I tried wiggling out of my restraints to get to him. He chuckled before looking down at my chest. He frowned.

"O my God what did he do to you." I looked down refusing to meet his gaze. However his smile soon returned. "But that doesn't matter now. Let's get you out of these ropes shall we?" He said untieing me.

The ropes pooled at my feet. I tried to stand up to throw my arms around him only to fall into his arms.

"Easy angel. The thing that I'm guessing is ,that you haven't stood in quite a while." He said picking me up bridal style.

"Thank you for saving me." I mumbled shyly. He smiled.

"You're welcome angel. Now let's hurry and get out of here. The demons could overpower us any second." He told me jogging out of the room with me in his arms.

Shouting and screeching were heard. Hundreds of demons lay slain across the floor. Their alternates either lying with them or clutching onto an injured appendage.

" Everybody follow me!" Jack shouted To his followers as he rushed me out of the door to what seemed to be a jet black army van.

Suddenly I felt very dizzy and slumped against him letting my body go limp.

"Mark don't leave me. Just stay awake for a little longer!" Jack pleaded. Before my eyelids closed I saw Dark standing in the shadows.. next to Anti who wore a huge grin.
