To sort of make up for my inactivity here is my longest chapter yet! Over 3,000 freaking words! (Honestly, I'm not very proud of the beginning of this one, oh well)

POV Nightingale

The first thing I felt when I woke up was a splitting headache. I slowly sat up with my eyes still closed. When my headache started to go away I opened my eyes and saw a sea of stars that was slowly fading away with the sunrise.

Ugh, too much ice cream before bed, I thought as I looked down and saw sand at my fingers tip.

...Sand? Okay this isn't right, I tried to remember where I was.

Hold the metaphorical phone.

Why can't I remember? Where am I? And what the hell  am I wearing?

I look down at myself, I was wearing a black and purple kevlar suit, my utility belt, my escrima sticks and long gloves. I had a thick bracelet, I wanted to push the buttons on it but I didn't know if it was a bomb or something.

Alright, no biggie. So I'm stuck in the middle of the desert, with no idea where I am or how I got here. It could be worse.

In the distance I heard engines rumbling. Three jeeps full of people move  towards me. Maybe they could tell me where I'm at, I stood up and waved my arms to try and get their attention.

They stopped a little ways away and all jumped down, making their way to me.

"Thank God I found someone," I say "Could you guys point me to the nearest civilization. I'm embarrassed to say, but I'm lost." The leader shouted something to his men, they pulled out their guns and started shooting at me. "Okay! Not friendly!" I reached into my belt and threw smoke bombs to cover my escape.

I ran until the sun was above the dunes. Wheezing, I looked for a place to hide until I could figure out where I was.

About 50 yards ahead there was Large form of rocks that could offer me shelter. I heard the rumble of the jeeps behind me so I sprinted to them. A boy wobbled out from behind the rocks, I grabbed his arm-before he had time to register my moves- and pulled him to the top of the rocks.

"Hey!" He shouted, ripping his arm from my grasp.

"Shut up!" I hissed. I pushed his head down, we watched the jeeps thunder past us until they were no longer visible.

"Those are Bialyan Republican Army uniforms." He whispered to himself more than me. "But what are bialyans doing in, uh," he reached down to his wrist and pulled up a holographic map. "Bialya?" Oh so that's where I am, but how did I get here?

"Better question-- What am I doing in Bialya? In September? What happened to March?" That's when he noticed me, "Who are you?"

"Um, hi." I said with an awkward wave "I-I'm Nightingale." I looked over his suit and saw a yellow "R" on this chest

"Wait, you're Robin, aren't you?" My eyes widened "Well won't you look at the time. I better get going before my trainers flips." I turn to run but he grabs my wrist.

"Hold on, you're not going anywhere until you tell me how I got here."

"Listen kid," I say, seeing as I'm a good couple inches taller than him "I don't know how we got here, last I remember I was back in America doing my homework. So, how on God's green Earth do you think I brought you here if I don't even know how I got here!"

"I better radio Batman." He reached up to his ear but stopped halfway "Or not."

"Why not?"

"I remembered Bat ordering Radio silence."
