Chapter 15

"So the door just swung open?" I looked at everyone and then nodded "Bells are you sure you're not getting overworked you have been up for a couple of days with the kids" I looked at Marci "I know what I saw" she looked at me "okay I believe you Bella, just did the kids see anything?" I shook my head looking down at my hands Paul was currently rubbing my knee with his hand I smiled I felt like we were beginning to go back to the way we were before all this crap happened. 

We haven't really talked about Payton being Edwards, I think we both know that now isn't the time for that "don't worry Bella the pack has it covered" I nodded at Jacob I can't believe that I didn't feel safe in my own house, just then the kids came running down the stairs Payton, and Kale ran to Paul hugging him greeting him from have the night shift on patrol Payton looked at me with concern in her eyes "mommy do you want to play with us" I looked at her and smiled trying not to let them know what is going on.

Before I could answer Paul answered for me "honey I think mommy needs some long needed rest, maybe later okay hon" she looked at Paul and nodded and hugged me and ran upstairs "I'll make you some tea okay Bells" I looked up at my mom and nodded I headed upstairs and headed to my room laying down like I was supposed to a little bit after my head hit the pillow I fell into dreamland.

I was woken up by a loud crash I jerked up and looked around me, it was dark it was almost two in the morning wow, I slept through dinner I saw that Paul was next to me I decided to see what that loud crash was I got out of  bed and wrapped my robe around my body and headed downstairs I went into the kitchen to see that the fridge was open "whose there?" no answer I walked around and saw little pink slippers I sighed. 

"Payton what are you doing out of bed its really late sweetie" she looked up at me "I was hungry" I looked at her "did you eat dinner?" she nodded I smiled and picked her up and sat her on the counter "how about we have a little midnight snack how about that" she nodded I kissed her head and got a yogurt out of the fridge and set it in front of her and gave her a spoon and she started eating.

"Is Jason going to be coming for Blake" I looked at her confused on how she could know that "how did you hear the name?" she continued eating her snack and looked up at me "I heard you guys saying the name when I was playing upstairs" I looked at her super hearing Paul has that right she is not Edwards daughter I will assure you that.

"Mommy?" I looked behind Payton and saw my son "Kale honey what are you doing out of bed?" he rubbed his eyes "I heard Blake talking to someone" I looked at him frantically "Kale honey do me a huge favor and take your sister upstairs and get your dad please" he nodded and they ran upstairs next thing I know Paul is downstairs with the lights on "Bella what's going on why are the twins out of bed this late" I grabbed his arm "Kale said Blake was talking to someone" he looked alarmed "go with the kids keep them safe get Marci quick Bella" I ran upstairs to be with my kids and sister.

"What do you mean he was talking with someone where is my son!" I looked at her then heard Paul come in he didn't have Blake "where is Blake?!" he was looking at the floor "I am sorry Marci, Jason took him" when he said that Marci just fell apart she started balling her eyes out and fell on the floor crying I held her "Paul take the kids to their rooms please" he grabbed the kids and I sat there and held my sister I felt bad for her "my baby is gone!" I just held her while she sobbed.

I felt like I failed her. I failed Blake.
