My Brother Returns

Kat POV:

Happy 17th birthday to me. I thought as my mom's old watch said 12:25 AM.

Then, I closed my eyes, but when I was about to fall asleep, panpipe music entered my room. It felt like it was calling me. My eyes opened as I heard my brothers voice. "Peter"
That moment I decided to escape

Good thing I slept in the first floor because the quickest way was out the window after I silently opened it,  hopped onto the window sill and jumped down, slightly staggering yet got my balance. I took off running towards the sound.

The boy who was playing the pipes stopped. "If you boys want to stop living your life's like this, follow me." I quick pulled my black sweatshirt hood over my brown hair so they wouldn't tell I was a girl. The boys all followed him but I stayed near the back.

The boy dropped the silvery, clear thing on the ground which created a huge portal like thing. It pulled us all in. The boys landed on their feet, while I fell in my butt my hood fell off my face. " That hurt my bruises And I am now filthy to" I snapped. The boy pulled me up by my sweatshirt. "Hey!" I shouted.

"What are you doing here girl!" The boy shouted. "Peter, it's me Katherine. Your younger sister." I said tears falling down my face. "Kat." Peter's face softened. "Peter." I breathed hugging him tight.  He lifted me off the ground hugging me. And I buried my face in his shoulder.

"What the HELL!! Is Pan hugging a girl!?" A tall boy with a hood over his face yelled shocked. "You got a problem with a girl hugging her big brother?" I snapped all sassy. Making the others laugh. "Why you little..." he didn't get to finish his sentence as Peter stood in front of me. "Leave her alone Felix." Peter said. "Fine!" Said the boy, Felix. He stormed away like a big baby. "Come on Kat" Peter said. I followed him. Peter told me from behind, "I've changed, I'm kinda... well, a bad guy."

"I believe you can be bad, but no one can always be bad." I said.

"You sound like Mum." Peter said. "I gave him a smile as we walked through  a dark forest with roots sticking out of the floor ready to trip anyone or anything that passes
