It was a hot, but breezy day in New York City, Manhattan. It was quiet and the streets weren't as crowded as they normally were, being that it was only 12pm. It was a half day at school, I had been leaving school with my best mates, Daniel, Sophie, and Tyler. I think we left earlier than everyone else.

We've been friends for quite a while and we've always stood close to each other, we were basically inseparable. We could all relate to each other on different topics, no matter how difficult they were. We were like family, no- we were family, we were brothers and sisters.

Daniel was known as the calm and mature one, he was the "parent" of our little group, and always kept each of us in line. He'd help us with any problems we had, he'd take care of us whenever one of us were sad or not feeling well. All in all, he was an amazing person, he treated us as if we were really his siblings. He loved us and we loved him. He was a good looking boy too, he had beautiful jet black hair and these shining hazel eyes that really brought out his facial features. His teeth were a beautiful pearly white, his skin was like mine, caramel coloured.

Sophie was the preppy one, she would wear these pretty girly clothes, but made sure it was always comfortable enough for her to play around and move along freely as she'd normally do. She was the type of girl that was extremely girly, but could be boyish any time she wanted.  She was the second innocent one of the group, but she was able to be pretty evil when she wanted to. She was hyper most of the time, all jumping around and being happy as she normally is, and that's just what she does.

She's a cute person, she's got nice shiny brown hair that gave off a beautiful red pigment in the light or sunlight. Her eyes were dark, but whenever she was happy, it was like her would just brighten up and sparkle with happiness. Her skin was a nice olive complexion, she was free of blemishes and her skin was pretty smooth. Sophie wasn't actually her real name, her actual name was Abigail, but she adored the name "Sophie" so we agreed to call her that from then and on.

Tyler was funny one, he'd make all of us laugh even at the worse times, he'd tell these jokes that were most likely insults to someone he didn't like, and we'd laugh our asses off at it. We loved his smart mouth. He'd say the most dumbest things on purpose to make us laugh and he's what keeps our friendship alive, and what keeps our group together. Tyler was a huge video game lover, and that's what brought me and him closer, that's the main thing we have in common, we loved things like anime, video games, manga, computers and stuff like that. Another thing, Tyler was the ultimate meme lord, he loved memes and couldn't get enough of them. Tyler wasn't really drop dead attractive, he had dark hair, hazel/green eyes and tan skin. Tyler was the edgy type, like me.

Then, there was me. According to Daniel, I'm the hyper but psycho one, I've got a very, very quiet and calm first layer, but then as soon as you get to know me, I'm a totally different person. I can be hyper as hell one day, quiet as hell another, and perky the next. I wasn't bipolar or anything, I just had a lot of feeling to me is all. We all loved each other, we were great friends and nothing really changed that. I loved manga, loved anime and all that stuff. My name is Izumi, Izumi Miyazaki.

All in all, we were all pretty different, but we accepted each other and loved one another, and that's what mainly made us stay together.

While walking to the train station, Sophia suggested we go to McDonald's to get some food, Tyler's eye's widened in delight. "Yeah! Lets go there! I'm starving." He grinned softly to himself and rubbed his stomach slowly. I shook my head and bit my lip gently, staying quiet. Tyler must've noticed my hesitation, cause he placed a hand on my shoulder and gave me a concerned look.

"Izumi, what's wrong..?" His smile faded into a small frown. God, I hated when he didn't look happy. I quietly looked up at him.

"You know how my parents are, they're paranoid, I can't.." I shook my head and looked over to Daniel and Sophie, they were sitting at the curb of the street, talking amongst themselves. I didn't feel right today, I didn't feel like myself at all. I honestly couldn't remember what I did today. I couldn't remember waking up this morning, I couldn't remember sitting through classes, couldn't remember what I'd done or eaten for lunch, and I couldn't even remember what day it was.
